If seeds are worth way less than their respective herbs it obviously is a good idea to plant multiples of them. Also if you're an ironman who just got way too many of a certain kind - which easily enough can happen when you take alone a look at the arch glacor and its spirit weed seeds drops. If neither applies you still can (and obviously should if you intend to make bank) use the classical method. Also don't forget that bosses do no longer drop herbs at all (making them more valuable), instead dropping seeds (potentially dropping those values).
Not being forced to use buckets in order to collect compost is perfect reward space, it's not it would be a broken mechanic, that needs to be fixed globally. Obviously this part of the rant wouldn't have taken place if it wasn't offered as part of the update and only somewhen later...
Forgotten that herbs gotten diseased do not grow until cured in your rant? So how exactly is the moonstone useless?
Oh noes! The set with 11 passive effects and a ton of teleports now only has 10 passive effects and a ton of teleports, so it's obviously no longer worthwile to be obtained... if you're thinking half a second you can create a much better setup than before if you're combining it with the relic
-
in Every. Other. Case. You do not lose anything if you're using the set without the relic and you'll still be in a much worse spot without having gained it in the first place - just a bit better than status quo.
Nah - even with the set, but without the relic you've gained an ever better effect - and still you rant about your set being devalued
I mean - some herb droppers aren't touched at all and thus will be more valuable than before. And it's not said the others will hurt, when individual herbs will be more valuable.
Okay let's be real. They did a full mechanical rework to a lot of things, that suck about farming and made farming the place intended to get your herbs. I really do not have an issue when you can get herbs from PvM, but it's so insanely obvious how it outshone the skill actually intended to get those things - so they fixed it by not just nerfing the droppers, but also by buffing the skill in multiple fashions - both by default and by reward space.
Likewise thieving - pickpocketing without auto pickpocketing sucks. That had to be fixed. The elite outfit still is insanely powerful compared to a lot of other elite outfits - just take a look at the mining one alone for that matter.
And maybe you won't even go out uncompensated at all - perfectly could be you'll get a teleport to the new pickpocketing targets.
Even better auto pickpocketing again, they could have added that teleport though.

Speaking of seeds and the now bottleneck, you can buy Herblore Habitat seeds, only seems fair we should be able to buy around 100 of all the other herb seeds daily from the farm shops.
I'd settle for even 25 of the most used herbs being in farming shops
Okay - going for your new stuff, since it's there meanwhile.

Also the Herblore Habitat HERB PLOTS do NOT give the same favour rewards, why?
Off task gives 45 favour (1 seed) but Herblore Habitat plots only give 30?
Non-daily herbs give favour based on their level - guam is worth 10, fellstalk is 45 - everything else in between - herblore habitat herbs obviously are lower than fellstalk.

After several days one thing is for certain, Harvest with ONE seed has been NERFED!
Whereas I would get 80-110 herbs routinely with just 6 herb plots (saved wild for bloods) now with all 8 patches and 1 seed I get 80-110 herbs....
So TWO extra herb plots but just ONE seed and getting the same average harvest rates as BEFORE the update....
Due to the lives system it can be extremely random how much you actually harvest - since yeah, you can end up with 6 herbs ultra composted in the worst case per patch. Just try out how much it can diverge by continously using insta growth potions and patch bombs. Can't really say, they had nerfed something.

The mystical sand seed was a nice touch, but why not just give it outright? Or sell it for 50 favour?
FORCING everyone to pickpocket it seemed rather redundant.
It has already crashed a lot and I suspect it will be worth less than 50k before too long.
It is rather annoying having to tele to find out what the herb of the day is, only to have to tele to bank to get daily herb seeds (if you are lucky enough to have them in bank) and then tele back to start your herb run.
That's basically just a herb patch - of course they randomly could have added a bank chest there, but then please also for the 7 other herb patches.

was nice, but wasn't really realistic in finding without seeing it mentioned on wiki, perhaps could get a clue from pickpocketing the druids, stating to
look in the water
or something would be nice and a hint to
tele grab
.
It's a trade sequence - it's not like the others would be more obvious. And seemingly players have beaten it, otherwise the wiki couldn't tell you anything about it.

Jmod at W84 day of release also stated he had a personal account, so not really saying much to say was found in X amount of time since developers could flex/brag/inform others with their personal accounts.
I don't see why anyone would normally just be clicking
tele grab spell
and then moving pointer all over screen 'just in case'
Of course I am only speculating, and that post specifically was more targeted to those who like to find surprises on their own and not through wiki posts?
So adding a simple clue to say pick pocking the druids with high pick chance so you get it quickly enough and then can go oooh something extra here!
Could make that small aspect of the update more fun or special.
Doesn't really matter to me either way as I have the item now but could be a nice touch for those who don't know and don't have to get a clue and then can start looking in the area.
That's generally how those things work. It's brutally obscure (the ryan one probably was the fairest, since it usually involved content he had worked on, but the goebie one was really insane for instance) and you often have to think outside the box - and it's not like it would be important to solve it - you usually get useless items, rarely at most some kind of cosmetic to show off.
I also not really think there would be anything wrong, actually telling players that there's more than meets the eye.
