RS3 has become even more MMO-ish with today's Garden of Kharid update.

When we see players and even pvm streamers calling it game changing and going out of War's Retreat to plant herbs and make composts you know RS3 has become that MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER RPG it started out as many years ago.

LOL! Players are playing for profits and thieving xp. It has nothing to do with Comp Cape

In case if you are still in the dark, there is a 13 month GRACE PERIOD for the new Comp requirement. Nobody need to get their comp back when it is already on our back. :D

Obviously it is not a mistake. RS3 doesn't want to compel players to do something in a short period.

Regardless you think this is a mistake, The comp'ed players can continue to wear their Comp Cape. There is nothing for them to "get back". Those happy farmers we see in this bona fide MMO RS3 just do farm runs and other Garden of Kharid content for the community fun, profits among other MMO-ish features, definitely not to "get the comp cape back".

Lmfaooo my guy ur funny arch had a 6 month grace period for getting 120 do u really think it would take over a year to buy all the stuff from the new update? Absolutely not theres no way in hell they would give u over a year for that it's clearly a mistake

We don't need 1 year to unlock all perks in Garden of Kharid. That's the point. Nobody seems to have the urgency to get all the unlock in a few days. Everybody can see who are the players most actively engaged in the new content. Most of them are mid level players, not even maxed and let alone comp'ed.

Heres my Prediction for how this is going to play out

7th November to 30th November - Hype train, new content its a future comp requirement all hands on deck with a 25k limit making sure it does actually take a while to complete

1st December to 6th December - half of the completionists will have the requirement done the event will fall silent minus the odd compers doing it adhocally thinking they have a year and the odd newbs earning some gp

7th December to 20th December - Grace period ends catches many completionists off guard some thinking they had more time (may rage on these forums) others who just never got round to it, it becomes insanely popular while every man and his dog fight to get their lost comp capes back

21st December to whenever - everyone is a completionist the content is forgotten about and the only people who care to carry on is the low levels money making or the high levels working on comp requirements
