Solution is easy enough - Jagex has to delete those currencies they'll never use again and compensate players with a few coins or oddments.
This.

They never said they would never use those currencies though.
Postie Pete events have been going on and off in irregular schedules many times the last decade. AFAIK, they aren't discontinued and I strongly suggest keeping those currencies, especially they can be stored in the bank.
Pirate's Keys go to Frank Chest or Coin Pouch. The other old currencies go to the bank. Pretty simple and riskless solution.

The last parcels from the Henge was released in 2019.
I am pretty sure they just forgot about it over the years.

Almost like rare item tokens. Unused for three years and then they got removed - but Jagex surely had had plans for them all the time.

I don't know (and am doubtful) Jagex has a plan on Party Pete Stamps and such now, but like RIT, these older currencies will not be just removed. They will be converted to something useful at least. They are still worthy to keep in the bank.
5 oddments or coins per piece - that's

their conversion rate. Not debating with you whether or not it's worth the keep the bank slot occupied for howeverlong it could take. I do not need to ask myself that question, since my it works out just fine with my currency pouch - so I'll keep those stamps and patches. As easy as that. If they get in the way - they'll have to go. If you feel intrigued enough to keep bank slots blocked by the potential opportunity to gain a few oddments or coins - that's probably also fine.
