If someone were to find you laying on the sidewalk... moaning in pain... someone might throw some money at you to not complain about it in court...

If you get injured as a result of something your neighbor is responsible for, you're compensated using your own money?

Also, the payments are only part of what you earn. You don't get privately looked after or anything, it's all under the public system.
And what I hear it's hell of a fight to get anything, it can take months and some cases years.

I was at the after-hours medical centre the other day (Saturday) and this dude was there before me and because he was foreign he was charged $200NZ : That's a hell of a lot of money to see a doctor for 15 minutes.
edit: It starting to get on my nerves now
It's bloody annoying. I am going to turn of me pc and see if it stops... this time the ticking lasted slightly longer
