We have bricks on our footpaths in the city centre and your feet slip out from under you when wet - it's a horrible feeling when you think you are going to fall - I haven't yet thankfully - the council said they have only had one other complaint about the footpath so don't' plan on doing anything about it
I suppose they will wait till someone injures themselves

You know... whiplash is hard to medically diagnose, as well has hard to disprove...
If someone were to find you laying on the sidewalk... moaning in pain... someone might throw some money at you to not complain about it in court...
