Happy Friday 'Scapers! :)

Three medical appointments for me this month, and they all were scheduled for this week - the week of 1.2XP LIVE. Of course they were.

Even so, this week I reached 91 Firemaking, 94 Crafting, and 103 Mining.

Will there be further gains before 1.2XP LIVE comes to an end?
Will there be another song or two posted to RuneScapian Rhapsody soon?
Will Scouse be along today to bring the love from Liverpool?

The answer to at least one of these questions is "Yes, absolutely."

I haven't been paying attention that much to the lounge. Is your medical issue on the way to being fixed?

No worries, Jeremy, and thank you for asking.

This week, my appointments were for three separate issues, and I'm happy to say all three issues are well on the way to being fixed.

On Wednesday, I went to the dental clinic and had a filling put into a back molar on the top left side. I had a glass ionomer filling put in. It's less-invasive than the old silver fillings.

On Thursday, I went to Wound Care. I have a pressure ulcer wound in the middle of the bottom of my left foot. It's been slow to heal. We learned this summer two different strains of bacteria infected the wound. Six weeks of three separate antibiotics killed the bacteria. Now the wound is healing from the inside out, as it should. It has shrunk to one millimeter by two millimeters, and is now just one millimeter deep.

On Friday, I went to Dermatology. I started going there to find a treatment for moderate to severely dry itchy skin on my scalp and back. My condition is now mild. Zinc shampoo FTW!

So yeah, it's been a busy but encouraging week. I have had less time than usual to play RS. I did manage to get 92 Fletching early this morning, so there's that. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
