I celebrated one of my boys birthdays today - not his actual birthday today though - took a pile of kids skating at an indoor skate park and I hired some roller skates and got about 20 minutes of skating in and I didn't fall over, I did stay right next to the wall and just took it easy, I haven't skated for 30+ years, but I think if I stayed at it a bit longer and went regularly I would pick up the flow of skating and get my confidence back (It would be good exercise too. It went really well, I got lots of compliments from his friends, one saying it was the best birthday she'd been too, the other said I was a good cook. A good bunch of kids.

Luckily no one was injured. Although most malls are dead this one is quite popular and always busy. It could have been much worse.
But the driver was either on drugs or mentally ill. But there hasn't been an update on it yet. My husband and I go walking there often so it's scary to think of being there for that.

Pleased everyone is alright. This type of attack is getting more and more of a thing in our society - it's rather frightening and sad.
