The people who edit the wiki are super petty. I contributed a ton to the wiki for the easter event and arch material cache (doing the pictures for the majority of the material caches). People will submit sloppier screenshots or ones that aren't any better and since they're a bigger contributor, they get special treatment. If you want to see how petty they are for yourself, just check out the number of times the archeology skill icon has been updated. Instead of actually trying to contribute, everyone just wants to have credit and have their own work shown. The experience was so negative, that I haven't returned since. I'm not wasting my time on you. RIP Forums

First I hear about this.

Looking at the page, it seems that the file is just misbehaving somehow. There's no battle going on between different editors. Each tried to crop the image and created an image with a lower quality, so they reverted it to the previous one. Eventually, one succeeded where the others failed.

I checked most of the material cache images, but I didn't see any problem. These are the cases I found:
1. Your image is the active one.
2. Someone added transparency to your image.
3. Someone reverted an image that was made transparent to your original image.
4. Someone took a better picture.

The Archaeology icon had no battle, the comments even show that it just behaves weirdly.

The Easter 2020 image battles I do agree are a bit petty, but not bad enough that I would leave. Although this "everyone just wants to have credit and have their own work shown" applies to you too.

Hey, sometimes it can be tricky to understand the reasons for reverts given the limitations of the summary field when doing so. The Wikis do have a Discord server which can be found on any of the Wikis, that would be a better way to resolve any editing issues or to ask about what was going on.

I briefly looked at one image and it appears that it might have been a standardisation issue since the Wikis have "Style Guides" that list ways things should be done in order to keep a standard across that respective Wiki. I'm not too familiar with the RuneScape one since I mainly edit the Old School one. :)

Augmented elite sirenic hauberk and chaps don't have current up to date info you can see the this section or article is incomplete and could do with improvement on both pages. Someone needs to add the correct info, this is important for end game pvm.

Hello Mr. Gloopy Abbot,

I don't know how appropriate it is, but in browsing some Wiki pages I saw some small things that could potentially be updated:

Fairy Rings : runescape.wiki/w/Fairy_ring
The map used to point out their locations is a little dated, not showing some of the new areas and still showing older areas that have been improved.

Yew tree (farming) : runescape.wiki/w/Yew_tree_(Farming)
Images show old growth stage models and the older textures of Varrock's buildings. I assume this is the same for some of the other trees? -looks- it's not!

Farming Training : runescape.wiki/w/Farming_training
Under Spirit Trees, the wrong location is shown for the tree at Manor Farm. The location highlighted is the Money Tree patch, whereas the Spirit Tree patch is the one north of the allotments.

Rush of Blood : runescape.wiki/w/Rush_of_Blood
It might be like this for a reason, but I found this article doesn't list the Runescore/achievements related to it. Other D&Ds like Herby Werby do, so this felt like an inconsistency.

I did also see a page which showed a variety of different farming tree models growing in the old version of Falador. By this I mean the growth stages were a mix of the old trees and current trees, with the buildings of Falador being pre-graphical update. I can't remember where I saw the article, though!

Dear Mr. Gloopy Trewavas,

Thank you for bringing these issues to my attention!
One of the following days I shall look into them, and fix what I can and ask others what I can't.

Perhaps you could go through your browser history (if you are brave enough not to delete it every now and then) and find back the relevant article, in case your memory decides to be elusive?

You're very welcome.

Yes, I did spend some time having a look back through my history to see if I could find it. I also looked at the previous versions of some of the Farming/Tree Farming articles to see if I could find it (incase it had been edited after I first saw it). Sadly I couldn't find it, but i'll try and find it if I have a spare moment or two.
