Hello Kings Abbot. I have a question regarding the Pride event.

When this event was first offered in June of 2022, I did not get around to doing it. I would like to complete the event this month, if it is possible to do so.

The RS Wiki states the event will be available each June, and that it can be started by speaking with The Curator in Burthorpe, in the area of the Yak Track.

The problem is I cannot currently locate The Curator anywhere in Burthorpe. The Yak Track NPC is still there, for some strange reason, but there is no sign of The Curator. Is there a known bug preventing him from appearing, or is the RS Wiki incorrect about the Pride event becoming available again this month? This was not a members-only event last year. Has that been changed for this year, or must I wait for the Yak Track host to leave before The Curator returns, so that he can be spoken with in order to start the Pride event?

If you could shed some light on this mystery for me, I would appreciate the information. Thank you in advance.

The Curator is located north of the Burthorpe lodestone, and he's holding a pride flag, so I'd say the event is active!

The guy has moved between the Yak Track area and the entrance to Burthorpe castle a few times the last couple of months. You're not the first who couldn't find him.

Thank you so much, Kings Abbot! I completed the event this afternoon.

It was a fun little miniquest, and I found the stories charming. I had a little trouble tracking down the last journal. I had not realized there were separate locations for F2P and P2P. I was wondering how the heck are free players supposed to reach Anachronia? I did find the journal just south of the archaeologist. The rest I figured out on my own, but I did end up consulting the RS Wiki for a better idea of where free players could collect that last journal without having to enter a members area.

Thanks again for letting me know where The Curator had moved to. I recalled where he had been before, in the area of the Yak Track. I searched all around there, but my search had extended north only as far as the bank. It's good to know others had lost track of him too. Haha!
