I don't think so, apart from perhaps reloading the page (which is probably what tht "click here" does.
When was it checked exactly? Perhaps it wasn't out of date if your friend lives in an earlier time zone. Kings Eastwood in

Thanks, Kings, for replying. I think the widget? (or whatever it's called) that brings up the current spotlighted activity is broken. That's unfortunate because it is a super helpful and easily accessed aspect of the beloved Wiki.

It seems to work fine for me on Chrome, showing Penguin Hide and Seek from February 2nd to 9th. Are you perhaps using an older/incompatible browser (like Internet Explorer)? Or blocking cookies perhaps?
I checked the page of the widget and it seems to be a very simple one, so I doubt the issue lies there. I've asked on the discussion page to what could be the issue, and I'll keep you posted of any replies. Kings Eastwood in

It seems like the info for the 20year vet cape is wrong as in the newspost it says acc created after February 28th have access to the cape but the wiki says March 5th:

I use Chrome and my browser is up-to-date. (Also, cache was cleared though not sure if that would be a factor.) I asked someone in game today to see if it worked for them, as they are also the type who keeps things up-to-date. They tried it on Chrome and other browsers and it didn't work for them, either.

My apologies for the somewhat late replies, I didn't have enough time the last few days to arrive at my final stop here.

This is assuming im understanding the newspost correctly.

I checked the page, and the date is automatically updated, so today it says March 9th. It calculates what day it was 7282 days before, so everyone with an account made on that day or earlier can claim the cape, everyone with an account made later won't (yet).
On the day of that update only people had an account made on (or prior to) Fevruary 28th 2002 could claim, but every day that passes, more accounts can.

That is very odd. Could it be that perhaps a browser extensions or firewall is preventing the script from working, like adblock? Kings Eastwood in
