My dad came up with it when he helped make an account all those years ago, and he didn't want a number in it.

According to various online sources, my name means means "wood" or "from the battleground" and is a given name of Gaelic origin. In my case, it's happens to be the name my parents gave me.

My first ever Runescape username was my real name which surprisingly wasn’t taken at the time I created the account back in early 2006 (
one would think there have to be more people with the same name as me that play Runescape, ay?)
.
My current name is pretty obvious I’d say
. Decided to come back to the game when Oldschool Runescape released and were looking for a decent new name
(I did kept on playing RS throughout the years but not as much as back in those first golden years all of us youngsters did)
. At some point I went looking through my local files on the PC to find some documents for work and did not expect the name to be available but it turned out it was available and since then I have been using the name on my accounts. Happy with it.
Ooh, shiny things!
