I think we have already proven numbers from this site can't be real numbers, as they don't match anything either on the RS3 and OSRS websites or the official Jagex numbers presented to real world regulators.

According to this website, OSRS has more players online now than any other MMORPG. Go tell the other MMORPGs and acclaimed game critics and let them have a big laugh.

For reference, I just did a quick check of the OSRS Hiscores for the Attack skill. The minimum rank for Attack in OSRS is 2,000,000 (meaning that Hiscore has been maxed out). Currently, rank #2,000,000 is sitting at lvl 60 Attack with 280k xp in the skill.

Do that yourself, and post that there. We are on a Runescape website, discussing the numbers displayed on the official jagex site, this was also the opening post of OP. So stay on topic or move along. Right now its been proven that the OSRS player base is far greater than that of RS3.

Interestingly, but not surprisingly so to me as Jagex officially told us and the world regulators they have 1.1 million members. It is definitely a significant percentage of the members on Hiscores are still members.

A reminder: just from RS3 FSW which was members only, Jagex chalked up over 50k new members in 3 months. It won't surprise anybody an iota if RS3 has at 600k, 700k or more members.
