For reference, I just did a quick check of the OSRS Hiscores for the Attack skill. The minimum rank for Attack in OSRS is 2,000,000 (meaning that Hiscore has been maxed out). Currently, rank #2,000,000 is sitting at lvl 60 Attack with 280k xp in the skill.
interestingly there are over 2 million accounts with members skills as well. Not sure what this means for an active playerbase.
Interestingly, but not surprisingly so to me as Jagex officially told us and the world regulators they have 1.1 million members. It is definitely a significant percentage of the members on Hiscores are still members.
A reminder: just from RS3 FSW which was members only, Jagex chalked up over 50k new members in 3 months. It won't surprise anybody an iota if RS3 has at 600k, 700k or more members.
There is zero distinguishment between osrs members and rs3 members. It is the same membership program. It's irrelevant to this thread. But we do know that those alleged members aren't playing rs3 every day, that's for sure.

I don't think I need to tell everybody 50-60k new FSW members alone are definitely larger than any "online players" of RS3 for years.
You replied to the wrong person if you think so. I reply to Miu who directed us to this website.
Youre so desperate now that you call out other players for your inability to sustain a logical argument? The player you just named isnt even in the quoted posts. Your off topic derailment cant hide the fact that the crystal clear numbers on the official jagex websites prove that the OSRS active player base is way higher than that of RS3. Stay on topic and if you dont like the fact that the OSRS active player base is way higher than that of RS3, leave the thread.
Go ask Miu. We can also see the post you quoted me was my reply to Miu who brought up the discussion on that website.
Youre troubled as you are. Get a spine instead of begging me to talk to others on a thread that you have monumentally embarrassed yourself, while derailing it. This thread is about the gap between the OSRS active player base and the RS3 player base. The OSRS player base is about x4-x5 times bigger than that of RS3.

No you dont, youre not on a FSW thread so get lost with off topic derailment. This thread is about the numbers on the official jagex website, showing the gap between the OSRS active player base and the RS3 active player base. As we can see from those number the OSRS active player base is x4-x5 times bigger than the RS3 one.

To add even more substance to it, RS3 FSW's "online players" were 3 times as many as OSRS FSW despite OSRS FSW could be f2p, 6-7k vs 2k from OSRS.
^When you got so dismembered that you have to quote your own posts in a thread discussing how the OSRS active player base is x4-x5 times bigger than the RS3 one, as we can see from the official jagex websites.

Surprise surprise, no one on OSRS plays FSW because there's no rare pets or invert capes being offered to be transferred into the main game.
Now that you're done comparing apples to oranges, can you get back on the actual topic of the thread, which is whether that number at the top of the screen is accurate or not.
Thank you for whoever bought up Hiscores. RS3 Hiscores show members and non-members. We can at least see the robustness of active RS3 members, nuking nay-sayers into oblivion with their flawed logic.

Surprise, surprise. Those who play for rare pets and whatnots actively now even after FSW are part of the millions of active RS3 players too. Millions of active players are just millions of active players, regardless how many of them play for rare pets and how many of them not.
