Paying customers are logically more important than non-paying ones. It won't change the fact that I am an active player even I am not logging in now and I don't log in 24/7. Even if I just logged in 1 hour a day, the ones who log in 24/7 don't count 24 times in the actual "active players" to Jagex, the game industry and the world regulators.

Nor does it change the fact that OSRS has a bigger player base than R3.

Delusion and other troubles go a long way.... But then again thats not my problem and, to get back on topic and not talking about goverments and other delusional things, I can simply check the official jagex websites, where its crystal clear that the OSRS player base is way bigger than that of RS3.

Go ahead while the actual millions of active RS3 players enjoy real game changing updates every week with Necromancy, Fort Forinthry and such in the game communing and helping out each other, and preparing to make even more new friends. :)

Only to destroy your invalid and delusional arguments more... The entire RS3 server capacity cant hold ''millions'' of players. Each world/server can only hold 2k player and there are only 140 RS3 servers, while OSRS, because it has a bigger player base has 168 worlds/servers. At max capacity a max of 280k players can play RS3, not even close to a single million. But then again RS3 servers/worlds are quite empty. Thats simply because the active player base of RS3 is about 30-35k, whereas the OSRS player base is about 110-130k player. OSRS player base is x4-x5 bigger than that of RS3, after all.

TYVM for utterly destroying every single post of yours. We have millions of active players but obviously not every one logs in at the same time. It is proven just members alone we have 1.1 million and obviously they can't all log in at the same time. Hence, "online players" utterly can't be active players.

That is as troubled as it can gets if you say that literally playing players arent active players. But then again, after invalidating all of your arguments I assume desperate times call for desperate measures, even tho you embarrass yourself further. Luckily the number on the official jagex websites dont lie. There are 111k OSRS active players and only 30k RS3 players, that might be in the lobby.

111K > 30K, thus making the OSRS player base bigger than the RS3 one

I used to use the Hiscores to make a rough judgement as to how many active players there are in RS3.

Last I recall, all members and all active f2p accounts are depicted on the Hiscores. Not sure if this is still the case, but that would give a rough idea of how many players are actively involved with the game. If you check out the current Hiscores, the skills most populated are combat stats with roughly ~1.4m rankings (requiring at least lvl 15 in the skill to place on the Hiscores).

This has always been my personal approach to measuring truly active accounts.

Again, I'm not even sure if inactive f2p accounts are still removed from the Hiscores.
