Congratulations! You have become CEO of Jagex and you now carry the final say on decisions.

Would you be a hands-on CEO who leaves their own print on the game or would you delegate responsibilities to current Content Devs?
I would be a hands on CEO, doing more community polls, talking to the community also trying to find more ways/smarter ways to deal with botting issue's, I would look at making the TH more fair while still making it useful while not overbearing so it doesn't feel like it's almost necessary/expected in RS3, rework keys and stuff so the economy is less directly correlated around them.

What is your first move?
reworking the TH, and bot busting spree's, making the cosmetic store more worth but possibly cost more.


I know a lot of people may not agree with this though.

Good to see Jagex Launcher and Jagex Partners making progress.

I will continue to diversify and grow Jagex through divide and conquer.

I will stop dumping all nested eggs in one basket, and begin to hire proven, capable hands to promote Jagex instead of just one game. I want public faces of Jagex, my company, like this one and not just one game:

I want everybody to know I am the CEO of Jagex, a soon to be household bland name like Carlyle Group and Embracer. I want to promote Jagex heavily and not just one specific game.

If I am the CEO of Jagex, I will challenge Wall Street to name an over 20 years old MMO which is doing better than RS3 in term of paid membership, revenue, net profit and growth rate.

I will also challenge main street to name any MMO of any age which is having more frequent original story content than RS3.

A lot of my friends are telling me lots of big games from big developers and publishers are coming up the second half of this year. I better get Necromancy, Jagex Launcher and Jagex Partners ready soon to get a leg up on our competitors.

I must put some positive news to Jagex. It is a must. I have many projects I need to release ASAP.

I need to utilize the new Necromancy skill in Runescape, Jagex Laucher/Partners and the series of games they carry to put positive energies to the company and impress the consumers. Brick and mortar products like comic books will be on my agenda too.

Given Mod Kieran just told us they are just hoping to release the first beta of OSRS's new skill this year and the actual release of Sailing will be way longer than that, it looks like the headline products in our pipeline this year are down to the new Necromancy and Year of Combat in RS3 and all the rest are Jagex Partners games and hopefully new Runescape games.

I'll have to say for Runescape franchise lovers, I will have to really count on Necromancy and Year of Combat in RS3 to make a killing, or else I will ramp up development and promotions of all my other games outside the Runescape Franchise.

The new RS3 Necromancy skill, the first ever Runescpe comic book featuring the God Wars trilogy starting with the Stormguard secret agent Howl, Jagex Launcher and the Steam launch of This Means Warp. This will be the solid plan I am counting on the next 3 months.
