There are still a lot of good uses for the RS forums. It needs a bit of updating, it's been neglected for quite some time. I don't find reddit useful at all and discord has some limitations as well. I hope they reconsider their decision, maybe a significant downsizing of the forums is more appropriate as opposed to a complete removal.

Yep thats social media for you. You get banned cause some lil B!$#% SJW crys over one of your posts, then while your banned you see posts that are WAAAAY worse and that have been up for months. you report that post to get it removed and nothing happens.

Its just a bunch of sweaty loser mods who have nothing in life so they abuse their power on social media.

Quick story!

I made a reddit acc 1 time to ask a question about a game that to my knowledge is only available in japan (Mh Frontier series.) Wanted to see if there was any way for me to play it. Anyways i couldnt post cause i didnt have enough kudos points or whatever the stupid thing is so i gave up. I came back like a year later to try and ask another question or comment or something to find myself PERMANENTLY BANNED. WTF?? I never even made a single post, was it cause i was inactive? What a joke.

Maybe you can post it again? Sorry to hear you had a negative experience with Reddit, maybe you can post on an existing thread your concerns so they address it before RSF are closed.

One time on RSF I had a thread locked and it took 3 weeks to appeal and get the post unhidden & unlocked. It was weird, considering I wasn't breaking any rules and in fact I wasn't in the 'grey area' where it could be interpreted as breaking the rules Against Raffle Rigging since 2015

Yeah, someone like me - who is not shy at all when it comes to expressing my opinions - wouldn't be on one of those shitty sites ten minutes before some diaper-wearing selfie addict would soil themselves over something I posted before banning me for life.

I will not be wasting my time, nor will I give these zeroes the satisfaction.

A big downvote to Jagex for yet again doing exactly the wrong thing. I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^

I don't use Reddit, and I am on too bad of terms with a RS Discord mod that I'd likely be banned upon joining.
Casual legacy trash of 20 years in RS, writer of Skyrook Gorge (and other books) irl
