With respect to the citadel resource boost, it helps each individual clan member to collect resources quicker, but the cap is still the same amount, so you don't collect more. Only that each resource you collect is worth more than it would be without the boost.

Is this different from the option to have the avatar gather resources after you summon it, or is it the same thing?
I summon the avatar when i go do my chores, and select the xp boost buff. Then i interact with it and select for it to gather resources, rather than selecting the resource boost while summoning it.
Sometimes, when i do my chores in several visits, if i try to set it to gather, it says the avatar has reached its cap, and i've been wondering what the avatar cap is.
Is it the same as a clan member's and constant, or does it vary depending on who summons it?

The avatar has the same cap as everyone else in clan, ( which depends on the tier level of your stronghold). And can be done in one go, or over multiple visits in exactly the same way as you can. This collection by the avatar is entirely separate to which buff you use :D

The citadel resource boost is an avatar buff which you could use instead of the xp boost. But I would only do this if time was short and you really needed the resources gathering.

Hey all. I was wondering if you could help me with an issue I'm having.

My clan used to have T5 with two avatars. Recently we've dropped down to T2, and have only managed to meet upkeep again this week.

The problem is, when I interact with the avatars and have the Avatar Buff Select interface before me now, the Skilling Bonus option is greyed out for some reason, and I can't select it, while I can select the other two options. Hovering over it doesn't give me a text box either.

The wikis don't tell me anything about there being a tier requirement to using a particular buff, so I'm not sure what's going on and whether or not this might be a bug.
