When you build basic avatar habitat you only get an option of 2 buffs for it. But the higher level habitats give you 3 options. Id say that its just unlucky that the one that is now unusable is the one you want to use :(

Though i dont know if thats the reason for it, definitely there is a tier requirement for building the habitats. Do you still have 2 avatars ? or only 1?

pretty sure i've used the avatar inside the cavern, and seen others in there, but I guess that may have changed. I'll check it out when I log in next.
