Could I get 25 defence on my skiller, do the Falador task for black chainbody, then reset defence and still have the task done?

You should just get a Faithful shield from Castle Wars.
It's pretty awesome

I must say I'm really disappointed with the Deathtouch bracelet. It barely activates, someone on the forums had 44 out of 670 hits reflected which is a 6.5% chance. And in total, 2.8% of the damage he took was reflected.
A ring of recoil, on the other hand, reflects 100% of the time, for 10 - 1000% of the damage (because of rounding up to multiples of 10).
Moreover, sometimes the recoil hit from the bracelet seems to be blocked and I get the "You are unable to reflect damage to this creature" message.

Well luckily most things that we are killing can be killed with recoil/reflect alone. The deathtouch bracelet doesn't seem to be as effective as we had hoped it would be. However, the 10 Hours that it lasts is far superior than that of the recoil ring. But still has poor damage outfit. Bleh

Random question: does anyone know what quests exactly get reset if you do a Defence reset? I'm tempted to do one so Missing, Presumed Death and Death of Chivalry are easier/give less xp; but I'm afraid that The Blood Pact will be reset (which currently cannot be done without gaining xp I believe).

EDIT: Something rather weird, but: apparently, if you redo a quest after a skill reset, you no longer get the xp reward. So this would mean that one could do quests giving constitution xp (witch's house, song from the depths, grim tales, fur 'n seek, a soul's bane?), resetting, and then redoing them without the xp?

From what I recall, I think just the Defence xp is not given for the quests, I'm not entirely sure.

As for a list of quests, there are a few forum posts that show which quests will be reset, just need to do some snooping.

Correct. However, to take advantage of that reset (this reset does your prayer and hitpoints level) you must have low combat stats (requires level 5 or lower in Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic and Summoning).

Yeah, the idea was to create a new account, do all quests that give constitution xp but not (too much) combat xp, reset, and then redo all the quest.

On another (positive!) note: When using curse + recoil + bracelet + Reflect ability, I defeated Barrelchest and actually got the drop (which I didn't with curse+recoil).

Less positive: killing the Jubbly bird for "RFD: Freeing Skrach Uglogwee" gives you constitution xp again, I gained 10 so probably the wiki value of 10.2 is accurate.

EDIT: Another random-ish question: has anyone tried if the reflect ability works in The Blood Pact? I know recoil doesn't and ASA currently gives xp...

EDIT2: Haunted mine also worked with the same strategy as Great Brain Robbery.

I'm actually curious if the Deathtouch bracelet would trigger those in the Blood Pact.

That would be interesting too, though a bit pricey to test, and I don't want to think how long it would take to get through that quest with the bracelet alone... I'd say it's quite possible that they would heal faster than the bracelet would hit.
