There's talk that with the elf city getting released... the Blood Necklace might make an apearence as a rare drop from the new slayer dung.

Chances that the necklace is tradable... or that it's actually safe to use... or that this is true however are slim... but something to hope for.

Blood necklace + Deathtouched Bracelet + Recoils + Reflect... + ASA
(not to mention double time length on ASA with wax... provided it gets fixed oneday)

give up your bonus hp xp to vic!!!!

you may need to get more stars for hp... because you need a certain amount of bonus xp to get away with giving it all up. So awesome!

So I guess it's time to talk about...
The Deathtouch Bracelet

Dun dun dun...

Any way, I think I'll list a few pros and cons about it first and then my idea if it's worth it or not.

Pros

1. Acts like a ring of recoil except deals around half the damage taken back to the opponent.
2. Does not give xp when used (even on a final blow).
3. Can be used in conjunction with the ring of recoil (and Reflect ability).
4. Can be recharged with a cut Onyx
5. Lasts 10 Hours, no reflect limit.

So overall seems like it's pretty useful huh?
Well... here are some bad points.

Cons

1. Is not 100% chance of activation, I would say around maybe 15% chance.
2. The damage is still very low. But for recoiling, of course this will be the case.
3. The cost of recharging with a cut Onyx.
4. The cost to purchase if buying off the *.*. (I wasn't able to sell it back, I'll explain soon).
5. The cost to purchase using Boss Slayer points.
6. Untradeable when used.

When I activated the bracelet, there was a message displaying that said it would be untradeable. I figured it would only be untradeable if you haven't recharged it. Apparently, it's still untradeable even if you recharge it back up to 100%. Kind of stuck with a Deathtouch bracelet on my main now... So I still figure the price of this is still around 15m+, but damn.

In my opinion, I would say that if you make your own from boss slayer points, it's worth it to trade it to your 10hp'er or maybe even ask your friends to leech a few boss slayer kills. Just remember, this is the one item you won't be able to get rid of.

Great Brain Robbery doesn't seem to be possible with just recoil rings? Even after cursing Barrelchest, once he dies he does not drop the anchor and I have to figh thim again.

Maybe I have to use bolas or the reflect ability to actually be able to kill him?

I guess I'll have to try Reflect. The same thing happened with Haunted Mine, by the way. Killed Treus by curse+recoil, after he dies and I try to pick up the innocent-looking key, he just respawns.

Or maybe I'll go train ranged to be able to use bolas...

Original message details are unavailable.
Could I get 25 defence on my skiller, do the Falador task for black chainbody, then reset defence and still have the task done?

The reset interface says that any quests/tasks with a defence requirement/reward are reset when you reset your defence level. So it shouldn't work as when you reset your defence, that task would be reset too.

Thinking about it further however, if you completed the task, claimed the shield and then reset your defence you would still have the shield and you'd still be able to wield it too since the shield itself doesn't have any requirements (obtaining the shield does, but the shield doesn't have any requirements). The shield, as far as I know, doesn't check to see if you have the tasks done when trying to wield it (I'm not sure on this though). The only check is when obtaining the shield (reobtaining it might be a problem though depending on how it is set up).
