Thanks for the answers! I'll try get my hands on a bracelet on my main account and test it out, if the GE wants to sell it.

I also have my old 10hp account from before EOC, so I'll see if I can test out some quests on it when I have time. It's stats aren't great, though.

As for Quiet Before the Swarm, I can't recall having to fight a pest there? Except then the ones you have to fight as Korasi, or am I forgetting something here?

Oh, and one small addition perhaps: in Between A Rock..., you have to kill a scorpion in the dwarven mines at some point, but I think the quest has a 'K' which I assume is about the Arzinian Avatar. TFK works to get the page, since I've just tried it.

Damn, that's annoying. I read earlier in the thread that both pests give 22 xp, sadly.

Bad new on Icthlarin's Little Helper: The Posessed Priest you have to face at the end seems as intent on not hitting you as the Menaphite god you face earlier. I had both the god (Crondis in my case) and the priest at level 58, Crondis gave me 35 hp xp and the priest 34 xp.

I'll try to do Mountain Daughter and Shades of Mort'ton later today.

Also, I noticed that Ratcatchers is considered a no-xp quest, has this been verified post-EOC or just assumed because it has no combat? I remember that I got hp xp from my cat fighting the rat prince pre-EOC.

EDIT: Defeated The Kendal in Mountain Daughter with recoil rings. Took me two tries, however, the first time he was about dead but despite the fact that my recoil ring kept hitting, he would always remain with a little health above 0.
The second time I did hit a few zero's with my fists on him, maybe that made the difference (I don't know if I actually targeted him on my first attempt), but he died without incident, no xp gained.
(For the record, I did this in Legacy Mode).

First off, welcome! (I know I'm rather late to the party... hardly post, but I should do more often) Second, it's confirmed to give no xp at all. Luckily Blackston tried it out first and then I did as well not to long ago. No xp is gained through cat fights, so you're golden.

We're known about Icthlarin's for a while, Diamond in the Rough was broken before it but was fixed with legacy.

For killing stuff you have to make sure you have it as your target other wise it won't count at all. Casting confuse or any other spell like that will mark it as yours. There are some creatures where you just can't target, and its like 50/50 if the recoil will count.

If you have at least 37 defence I recommend doing combat in eoc. There is a defensive ability called reflect which acts like a better vengeance for 4 hits usually.

I tried doing this quest just before but the bandits will never hit anything higher than a 0 :L

Tried in both legacy and normal combat modes.

Don't really want to waste my darts on this.

Unfortunately I have to confirm this. I also had that Ozan didn't hit his bandits either, which would force you to kill all 6 of them. (Apep and Heru at the end hit fine, on the other hand)

EDIT: On RFD: Dwarf, you can do it with no xp by just letting the rock cake cool while in your bank. (Judging by the post on Desert Treasure, you could just get ice gloves too. Killing the icefiend may be troublesome, TFK did not seem to work, you probably have to "deal the last hit". But why bother when there's a simpler way?)

EDIT2: Something is off in Missing, Presumed Death. [Nevermind, this was mentioned in an earlier post. You have to target the wights at the start to get the invitation box drop, simply recoiling won't do]

EDIT3: Shades of mort'ton seems to be a problem. Recoil doesn't work because they're not aggressive and after 2 hits of not damaging them, they go unaggressive again and revert to a shadow. I tried TFK by getting another person to kill the shade, got the drop fine but the kill did not count for the quest. Tried FTK, but again the kill did not seem to record... I didn't try using curse on them, instead I just hit a 0 with my fists, but I doubt that will change anything.

And another question: I've read the DT post. On the front page it says FTK, R; but the post only suggests recoiling (unless reflect counts as FTK?). And secondly, what about the ice blocks the troll parents are in? I believe those were "monsters" too?

You can get ice gloves by recoiling the ice queen or whoever it is, that's how I completed the quest.

Blackston said they had a thread asking for what quest monster needed buffing, so I wouldn't worry about wasting darts for Diamond in the Rough, I guess it was only a temporary fix when Legacy was added.

Try using confuse or another spell to keep agro, that should work just fine.

Ice Gloves you can TFK the Ice Queen and get them no problem.

The Ice Blocks in DT don't give anything. As for TFK in DT, that is for the Ice Gloves in order to keep your weapon on during the Fareed recoil. Don't want to have to worry about accidentally doing damage due to your cbow coming off.
