I found out something rather intresting today... well for me anyhow
Did you know for the easy Falidor tasks... where you need to equip a black chainbody in a shop... you don't actualy need 25 defence!
Attempting to try it on works!!! I think it works because they changed the black armors defence requirement with eoc because I'm sure i tried it pre eoc and it didn't work!
So... I got Falador shield (1) ftw!!!!
That means with xp blocks I will be able to get the full set of task armor now.
Missing the amulet and the legs currently Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

Shadow over Ashdale is possible, I just completed it.
You can run past most of the grunts throughout the quest...
1. you recoil the 3 grunts just after you get the water pipe door opened
2. at the end you kill the 4 tentacles normally DON'T USE ASA WHILE PUNCHING! I gained 3 xp because ASA managed to reflect damage just as the tentacle was going away... and killed one of the tentacles.... giving me 3 hp xp
3. finally at the boss fight, you just kill it normally. I wouldn't attack any tentacles during the fight because they might actually die that time around and get you xp.
so only thing that you need to be aware of throughout this quest is the tentacles. Your damage caps at 40 per hit on them i believe... so make sure that the tentacles have 41+ lp left before you do the final blow and you should be good. Don't equip a ASA if attacking normally.....
for #2, You could also try to not attack directly at all and just curse/ ASA the whole way to be extra safe but it's up to you. they have 210 lp each. recoil doesn't work on tentacles. Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

PvP now gives combat experience as of todays update, so don't go killing people like you used to be able to.
Maybe soulwars isn't dead anymore!!!
