So, question. For the ardy task 'Dukes of Khazard'... i have killed a gnome, a khazard warrior and even one of the giant torts... I was doing recoil/veng+ weaken... any idea why im getting drops but the task isnt ticking off?

We can get drops from recoil now unlike prior to EoC, but they changed it so that it doesn't count as an actual kill. This is the current problem with trying to recoil any slayer task, we can get the drops but it won't count as a kill. For like 2-3 weeks after EoC was Introduced there was a way to make kills count but they fixed that method and I don't believe anyone has found a way around it.

I did find that if you target a creature by casting a curse on it and have someone else kill it, it will count towards your slayer task and count as your kill. This principal may apply to diaries but I haven't tested that. You could try doing that to complete your task, just make sure you do 0 damage otherwise you'll gain the xp for the kill.

If that works, the only explanation as to why it isn't counting as a kill would be similar to how we had to do damage to a creature in order to get the kill to count for a quest, or have ASA do the damage for us. Creatures may drop loot 100% by whatever damage they receive, but unless you or someone else actually does damage it won't count as an actual kill. Blackston is a Naabe.

Slayer Contracts at the Slayer Tower are doable. Recoiled kills will count towards the contracts. The slayer xp per hour would be terrible though, since it is only 20% of the full xp. The combat xp rewards would be very little compared to Soul Wars. If recoiling wasn't so slow this would be a totally viable option to train, but its just terribly slow. Blackston is a Naabe.

Yea, anything on this list should be doable in the older version of RS being reinstated soon, assuming it is in that version. Believe a lot of whats on the list should be there, wasn't a big quester back then so can't really remember where the cut off was. :P Blackston is a Naabe.

The World Wakes may be doable. The only issue I see at the moment is the first fight, the one with the Automatons or whatever. The other fights you don't actually kill them, so you don't gain any xp. If recoiling the three of them could be done, it's a pretty straight forward quest with some difficult fights using brews. Blackston is a Naabe.
