Wands and sinkholes? It's sort of like Eye said about using just wands and no runes as a substitute for crossbows and bows since you don't have anything to attack 'em with. I'll try them out when I have free time.

Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf
: Whilst I tried only recoiling and ASA the last time, I decided to give it one more go as I didn't use reflect the last time. Turns out it works.

Although you'll have Commander Veldaban attacking the Dwarf as well, he doesn't hit at all (what a help) leaving you to deal with the Dwarf Hand Cannoner. Easy and simple, just use the Reflect ability and you'll get the drop.

Another curious thing, I'm trying to see if the ability " Bash " Doesn't give any xp for anything. Since it is an ability and sometimes when you have monsters that can be hit with this ability, it might change factors. Off to Dungeoneering I go to see if Reflect can be used to Solo some bosses.

eyehave9hp discovered that you can use bolas as a method for tagging instead of casting curse. Bolas requires 76 range. They work like entangle i believe.pretty interesting! i wonder if they would help during quests where you might have to do damage? maybe if your attacking with these it could count? idk but great find!

I got a hybrid helm for the first time today at Castlewars. I was wondering if any 10 hper managed to get the full set? even though I'm a 1 defencer... I'd like to have it banked. The only minigame I'm worried that we can't do is Pest control because i just read this: (copied from unofficial wikia)

Participation
In order to receive commendations, a player must inflict 5000 points of damage before the end of the game. Repairing a barricade or gate on the island acts as 50 points of damage on a monster, allowing players who may not be able to get the required points in the time allotted or players who do not want to train a combat-related skill to receive points. Therefore, if a player did no combat at all during a game of Pest Control, he/she would have to repair 100 barricades or gates - an impossibility in normal game duration (before EoC only 500 points damage were required). You can get 50 points of damage from repairing gates on any level boat.


So repairing barricades won't cut it anymore. What about attacking portals? do portals give experience? And Close, do you think it's possible to block Sir Owen in Death of Chivalry like in Demon Slayer? Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

The Pest Armour and FoG armour are going to be the hardest to get. Believe FoG is fairly dead atm, if not it shouldn't be too bad assuming no xp is gained from the pvp. I'll give the portal thing a go here shortly. I only have the Tops and the Bottoms, 2 of each top and ~12 of each bottom. For the tops, 350 Pit wins took like 7 hours of boosting, and the bottom you should be fairly close to assuming you've won a fair few Soul Wars games, around 100 to start getting them.

As for Death of Chivalry, there is no way to block Owen, even if you do he will change to another target that he can reach. You start the fight with Owen in between you and the knights. Blackston is a Naabe.

Ah so barricade fixing is a no-go? And feel free to take any of my hybrid bottoms... Soul Wars has left me with..*cough* a..*cough* "few" extras......
only about 70-80....

if im (edit:really)ever bored and feel like it i might have to just try recoiling slash bash a million times and try to get lucky. What other boss did i have this same problem with? oh right, my ring of recoiling mage arena... before i found out i could use a cannon(after I already completed mage arena)(note- this was pre-eoc memory recollection, so ignore it ^_^ )(i think blackston did mage arena after eoc?)

oh and another edit.. I remember trying to get pest control boots on my main. Think i got 250 wins and no boots still... 200m hp Exp / Frost Fox

Really not that crucial, but just for if any newcomers come and want to view some quests, you should change the lost city thread page to say 70 because it says 69 and there's nothing about lost city on 69 d: just an fyi haha

Also, just so all of you guys know, you don't need to do big chompy bird hunting to start mourning's end pt. 1. just incase you guys wanna get into lletya for pengs or some other reason like this week.

Yep, I did it after eoc. The demon hits 800s but it's possible. just have to bring enough supplies and recoils. but you can always bank in between stages. Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...
