What are you testing ASA on? Prior to EoC the using ASA on the Slug Prince from The Slug Menace would only hit 1's due to it having a ridiculously high defense level. That's the only thing I've ever had a problem with ASA hitting on.

My specific gear for testing was Dual Rune C'bow, no armour on, infinity boots, Sergeant cap/Santa beard, no ammo of course, recoil, quest cape and goliath/spellcaster gloves. Nothing that really stands out for making ASA hit any differently. Stats get lowered using Zammy Brews or Dwarven stouts, decreasing defense down to 0 most of the time and attack and strength sit around level 50. Blackston is a Naabe.

i've tested asa on alot of things, most recently jogres to try to get karamja gloves 1. i have every other task done for them but killing a jogre.. asa only was hitting 11 for a max.... and the kill didn't count it didn't even drop bones. (i was recoiling it to)

ive also tested asa on bats (south of camolot), moss giants, and ogres. I had ASA on for agrith-Naar from shadow of the storm. still all of these monsters it would only hit 10's on them.

for equipment i had:
varrock armor 1
first tower helm
first tower legs
klanks gaunts
fighting boots
ring of recoil
salve amulet
magic cape
darkbow (white)

how would veng work now? isn't everything multi way combat? i wonder if we could use it for quest trigger? or if it would give you xp... I've never been venged so idk lol Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

the blood pact is now a very easy quest for 10 hpers as none of the enemy's gives xp... such a shame the reward is 100 defense experience...
if you want the weapons and don't want the defense you can always teleport away after you kill the third guy.
I wish they would change the reward to a lamp instead of the random experience, like they did with stolen hearts.

(ohh and recoils don't work on these enemy's) but it doesn't matter lol

side note~ i got my 5 feathered white hat woot woot

going to try Contact! again but last time i tried i fell into a pit and instantly got hit by a bunch of enemy's for half of my lifepoints. :@

edit:
the giant scarab on contact "seems" doable...
but about a full inv of saradomin brews only got it down 25% recoils/ ASA.
maybe if my ASA was working right i could stand a better chance.
also if you stand behind the dead body it won't summon minions.. but i still couldn't get it down.
someone with defense might have more luck on this guy.
i really wonder what is wrong with my ASA... it hit multiple times during this fight but nothing over 10s Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

yep... i just gained alot of combat experience from god statues.
i checked on a trial account if it was safe to do the slayer option and kill the guy normal... and it worked. so i figured why not do it on this guy sense its safe.
it gave me combat experience gallore!
if my account doesnt get rolled back im quiting.
2 years down the drain.... great Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

Gratz on the new hat. :) I wonder if Hp level has anything to do with it, seeing as that is the only difference between my main and your account, I'll give it a go on here to see if that is an issue.

Veng would be interesting to know about. Shame I'm only 86 mage on my main. :\

How did you kill the slayer guy without gain? I killed them on my main and got xp for every one of them with an average of 131 hp xp per. Blackston is a Naabe.

I gave ASA a go on this account. Didn't really have any problems with it, lowest hits I noticed were a 9 and 37 with a max hit in the 700s, I really don't know why your ASA isn't working. Since I'll have more time to play tomorrow I'll give a go at testing some of the creatures you've been killing to see if they're the issue.

Is a little odd that the level 1 guy doesn't give xp for some reason. Would have been nice to gain that slayer xp every month. :( But ohh well it's only 24k xp per month, based off my main's 77 slayer, that we don't get. Blackston is a Naabe.

It's been fun though! i really enjoyed questing with all of you!

i got a reply from a jmod. they said they are aware of the problem and will send it to the QA team. wonder what QA is? i hope i get rolled back! Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

It's unfortunate and sad about what happened to you. Testing having a false result should definitely deserve a roll-back. Though it's unlikely it will happen, Best of luck!

edit': so recoil doesn't work for the 'minions' or w/e come out from statue? 200m hp Exp / Frost Fox
