Chompies have been updated today, and the Demon Slayer quest has also been updated. I will give a shot at both once I take a break from doing some math homework.
Edit: Chompies now give 62 ranged xp and 20 hp xp per kill, no more hats for anyone now.
And Demon Slayer is now impossible to do without gaining xp. The first combat part of teh quest may be doable without gaining xp but the problem comes with the second part when you have a follower. He behaves like Zanik pre-EoC, meaning you get xp for any damage he would do and he is quite aggressive. Him being extremely accurate also doesn't help, I doubt there is a way to trap him to avoid him from hitting. But other than that Delrith give no xp like before, just getting to him without xp gain is near impossible.

love the 1st day of the month. did my daily god statues and troll invasion
slay exp today: 136,792 ^.^
at 90 slayer I got 48972 exp from recoiling the god statues
54k exp from 24 penguin points
8020 for jack of trades
20800 approx from troll invasion
sof lamp(s)
200m hp Exp / Frost Fox
no clue, somehow whenever I get like 400 or 500 kills the health of castle randomly goes from like 3/4 to 0 and it ends. not sure how I'm doing anything wrong when i'm doing well with my work
200m hp Exp / Frost Fox
Mine was strange when I did it too. I can usually get the full 1500 kills but for some reason I got to around 1200 and the troll special Clobbering Time or whatever took effect and my health just dropped to zero and ended. Was still kinda shocked when I had gotten 50k slayer xp out of it so can't complain.

No real change this week in the patch notes. Sinkholes may be skiller friendly, I still want to do a skiller focused run on my main to confirm, but all in all it seems alright to do with out hp gain. Kind of wish that sinkholes were just another method to training dung, like a method made for skillers where the goal is to collect the resources rather then having a boss fight at the end of every dung.

Sinkholes seem a bit promising... although we'd probably get the small xp lamp 100% of the time since we won't be attacking the monsters or boss. We'll see, would be fun to see what's up with it when you can Close =]
Okay, so it is possible to purely skill it out. I managed to get second place overall rushing through collecting as many exploratory totems as possible then doing the resource collecting. Luckily I had a group that didn't know how to cut trees on that run.
Only problem with it is the fact that I had to go to world two in order to find just 4 other people to get the damn thing started. If they made it an instanced world for it, the population may be high enough to actually rely on this for some dung xp everyday. I'd say its worth it to do, just make sure you can find enough people for it.
Even if you come in last the cards you get can help you to get a better reward. Even though I had gotten second on that run I still managed to get the small lamp in my box at the end, but the cards I had allowed me to copy the chest next to me and get a large lamp. I could have even screwed over the guy in first and gave him the small lamp while I received his huge lamp, but I'm not like that.
Edit: Its rather easy doing it from a skillers perspective. You can get up there in points depending on how risky you want to get. If you want first or second place you have to collect pretty much all of the exploratory totems and skill a majority of the items required to get a decent place, the only problem with this is that there is no safe way to avoid attacking creatures. The range setup acts like a crystal bow when used, making it very risking to click through the 1-3ish creatures per room when rushing through for the totems. If you just hang back and skill the resources you'll most likely come in last place every time which isn't all that bad due to the reward system. The two runs I did on this account I came in last place and ended up with a large lamp and a medium lamp. So while coming in the upper place will net you a better reward more consistently, coming in last won't be all that bad.
