As the first 5 pages were posted months before any solid info. about the EoC was released, that was what I was assuming would happen, that armour would gain hp boosts and weapons would be rebalanced, not them taking things overboard and having a complete overhaul of the system. I now have two accounts with access to the Beta so I'm already aware of what is going on so far.
Cannons and recoils now give hp xp due to how xp is given, ruining the basis of any combat related questing once EoC goes live. Since you have to hit in order to poison, I'd assume you'd get full xp upon the poison killing the creature. That is the only method I haven't really tried as I don't use it. The bit of testing I did with it had the P++ poison only hitting 5's, which is terrible considering it maxes at 60 in live, I believe.
I made this account for fun really, playing on a main gets quite boring. The challenge of killing something with many times your hp is rather gratifying once complete. Hell, once EoC goes live, I might actually play my main. been stuck at about 2050 total since I got Quest cape last year, then no lifed on this account.
As far as the whole combat level thing you keep referencing for some reason, combat level really means nothing if you're not going to pk. The max level will mean absolutely nothing in the EoC, seeing as how easy it is to get to 200cb, but seeing as how I've heard that it may be changed soon, we'll see. The only combat level needed as a 10hp pure is 85 to start Smoking Kills, which only a select few have actually completed.
