I might also, lol. I do the same thing with granite vs. Living Rock Caverns. Even though there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that granite is the better option, I do LRC because I can't stand all the clicking.

Ivy was a terrible update that never should have happened... but now that it's here, it would be stupid not to make use of it =p.

Actually, LRC is better because you can superheat without interrupting mining. Regardless of that though, it's still up to 60k mining xp/hr, and banking the gold ore makes it more efficient than granite unless you value your time insanely high.

Heres some additional information that might also be helpful.
Barbarian Heavy Rod Fishing is much faster xp than Rocktails and the money gained from Rocktails is really insignificant unless you value your time quite low.
Also cutting Teaks and dropping them as you cut them is faster than cutting Ivy and on top of that you can gain Firemaking xp from using the Inferno Adze, so Teaks are a lot more efficient.
