I don't think this was mentioned in your guide, but you can also destroy loyalty reward costumes and get them right back by going to the loyalty shop in Varrock and Taverly/Burthrope. Just got about 12 bank spaces back by doing this! Great guide.

Very nice. Thank you. I was just moaning about my full bank so I thought I'd search the forums to see if there was any news about possibly getting more bank space. I found this thread and leaned some good tips. The best ones for me are:
-- getting rid of all extra tools that are already on the toolbelt (or adding them). I use the toolbelt tools all the time for things like chiseling gems, etc. but it didn't occur to me to get ride of the chisels that are sitting in the bank. I'm sure there are others besides chisels.
-- trading pouches and scrolls to what's-his-name to get shards back. I have a TON of pouches and scrolls and I never summon anything. If I really need to summon something (like for a quest) I can either buy it or make it.
-- store more things in my house, like my achievement capes.
Those were the best tips for me. Off to work on my bank now.

Lol. I just had to come back and say that I've just been through my bank. I put everything on the toolbelt that could be put there and sold the excess (people will buy anything!), I put some of my capes in my house (and learned that I can't store very many at all because I don't have a good enough cape rack :p ), and I've got my pouches and scrolls in my pack ready to sell to what's-his-name (except I have to look up where to find him). All of that has gotten me...... {drum roll}..........
