11,697,131 divided by 200 (Average ranged xp per throw): 58485.655 so roughly 58.5k red chins are needed from 76-99. I'd buy more to be on the safe side, but I hoped this helped! :)

Well, i was so excited to finally get my range to 99, but Jagex has screwed everything up again, used about 100 chins before almost diein* b/c protect form melee is useless now, and only got about 2k xp in the short time i was there. so with the new EoC and the way xp is given, i'd say chinning is no longer an advantage, im gunna try mummies quick to see if i have any better luck

If you're so inclined to chin your way to 99 ranged, the best place at the moment
is the Abyss. Yes, that Abyss. I heard people get 150k/250k xp/h, so there's
your best shot.

Bad joke because I just had to:
Your character is so fat, he had enough chins for 99 ranged! When in doubt, snark at Mahjarrat.
