Currently doing this to 99. I'm only at 87 (started at 84) but I've been getting 350k-360k/hour already which seems odd because most chin guides say I'd be getting around 200-250 at this level.
I'm using:
Helm: Void
Neck: Amulet of Ranging
Cape: God Cloak
Chest: Armadyl
Weapon: red chins
Offhand: deflector
Legs: Void
Boots: Snakeskin
Ring: Archers
Gloves: Void
Inventory is:
Home tele tab
gree gree
rocktail x1
super antipoison x1
prayer renewals x3
ranging potion x3
prayer potion x 18
Praying: Protect Melee, Eagle Eye
Take 1 sip of renewal and ranged every time renewal expires. Works perfectly.
Don't know how I'm getting this xp/hour but I'm not complaining :P

Thanks for an awesome guide, I really want 99 range so now I just need the money!!
Also, @Hunting ez, you're including XP gained in Constitution whereas the guides you've been reading have most likely been just talking about ranged xp per hour :D Hope that helps
