Starting at 80 Ranged is good. I said 85 because it works for efficient. After all, it is the player's choice!

I never done Mummies. They do drop some Rune items that I have seen and that can help you recover some of the money spent.
I completely forgot how many Prayer Potions I used. It will depend from player to player. I used the highest Ranging boost that Prayer offers. So, I used the most Prayer Potions possible.

Towards the middle of the Tunnel, there are some good spots. Try to stay within the pillar [the giant rock at the top that avoids you from getting hit by the falling rocks]. Use Protect against Melee and you should be fine.
