If it's in a multi-area, then yes. Monkey Skeletons are the best though.

Fal, what i see most people do is go to middle, turn on pro melee(this step is important since the skeletons rush to you) then turn back to human, after you get attention of the monkies, run to one those big overhead stones and range them from there(so you don't take damage from falling rocks)
I do have a question as well
do you know bone trick? I heard it from some guy that tried to help me. He said that since monkies respawn from bones, you never want 2 monkies to die in the same place since if 2 bones stack, they only respawn one monkey. Is this true?
also when do you drink your ranging pots? I usually have 2 left over per trip.
for example i have 75 range, I drink pot I go up to 85 range. When would you drink the pot again?
got 77 range now
first time I got 150k exp in a trip so happy
also I think i found a better way of getting to ape toll. I use varrock teletab to get out of ape toll into GE so from GE I use the spirit tree to teleport to the main tree then to the gnome stronghold. This way you never have to deposite your ring of dueling before going or anything. You can restock at the bank in GE.
