I'm not so sure Legionnaire. There is a difference in meaning between "spit upon" and "slobber" when applied to inanimate objects, ideas or concepts.

For example : I spit upon injustice. I spit upon cruelty.

In this context "spit upon" means to regard something with utter contempt, or disdain.

Now consider slobber.

I slobber over that pile of gold pieces. I slobbered over the icecream.

In this context slobber means to desire, or figuratively to drool with delight or eagerness at the thought of someone or something. Have you not ever slobbered over the thought of meeting some pretty girl? Perhaps someone is secretly slobbering over you. Indeed, I am beginning to suspect that Kalaya is posting here just to get your attention Legionnaire, you handsome devil you.
