d) How will it take place? The rules :
In order to minimize the disparities that exist among players, I deemed it best to set a couple of rules in order to ensure equitable - albeit BRUTAL - fights.
1°
The first rule is debatable, and I mainly write it here to ask for your approval or disapproval. I figured the best option would be that we all stick to Melee as a combat style. In this way, we won't be able to exploit the "combat triangle" mechanics, and only pure strength will determine the winners (this is a Bandosian contest after all, right?). Imagine how ridiculous it would be if a mage was pitted against a ranger, or a ranger against a warrior in his own group... Furthermore, another reason why I suggest that we stick to Melee is that the most part of T50 (and lower) melee defensive equipment is available to all players, while the array of Ranged and Magic armours is fairly limited for us Ironmen.
2°
Whether or not we decide to stick to Melee, switching weapons during a fight will be strictly forbidden. Thus, for instance, switching from Gravite Longswords to a Gravite 2H won't be allowed : if you start with a weapon, you finish with that same weapon!
3°
Again, I submit this suggestion to your approval, but I think we should forbid the use of abilities such as Sacrifice, Devotion and Transfigure, since these are only available through World Events, and not everyone owns them. (Following this, if we choose not to restric ourselves to Melee, we should also forbid the use of Warpriest and Ghost Hunter armours.)
4°
We should also decide on whether or not using Gud Raider equipment will be allowed. I personally think it should be allowed, since it doesn't provide a massive boost compared to other T55 Gravite weaponry. Moreover, I think that being able to draw on Gud gear will appeal to people with a pretty high combat level. But again, your decision!
5°
Food and potions will also be strictly forbidden.
