Where Giants romp with thunderous stomp
Miss Aly ventured round.
Her sword did flash as giants crashed
Their bulk unto the ground.
And yet though strong, she fought too long,
Her arms grew ever weak.
A giant’s mace it found its place.

For now death wins. The giant’s sins
Have reaped their dire reward.

The glorious deeds of the heroes of old
In song or in story by bards oft' are told,
But none have yet told of the greatest of all,
Of brave Radigas*** who was slain by The Mole!

The dread Giant Mole which bored close to the city
With earth piles like mountains, spoiled all that was pretty,
So Rad ventured forth with his sword in his hand
To free Falador from the blight to its land.

First brave Radigas*** sallied forth down its hole
Then with swift, slashing sword he hit hard on the mole.
Yet when victory seemed sure, the mole summoned his rage
And with one mighty leap, he laid Rad in his grave!

Alas for brave Rad to be slain by this foe!
All Falador is weeping from so great a woe!

Come all folks of Gielinor and gather to hear
The tale of Wild Odob who died without fear.
A brave knight, a good knight, just two days duration,
By vilest marauder he suffered cessation!

He smote hairy spiders, he slew vilest rat
And even to bandits he’d shouted “Take that!”
But as Odob battled with fierce anchovy
A high level player perchance him did see.

“I’m safe” thought Wild Odob, “he can** have his wish,
My level’s too low”. He continued to fish.
Oh tragic delusion that plucked Gielinor’s flower!
The pker returned on another, much lower!

Without e’en a warning, he launched his attack,
No chance for our hero to turn and fight back!
The dark earth was stained with his own noble blood,
And thus, in the wildy, died all that was good.

O vilest destruction! O death and defeat!
The victory of evil o’er good seems complete!
Yet while I even compose this refrain
A new Wild 0dob is risen again!

Rip Wild Odob
Long live Wild 0dob!
