We have a tradition in our FC, to commemorate the deaths of our HCIM's with a poem. Know that if you're a hardcore and lose your HCIM status through death, if you're one of us, your achievements will be recognised and remembered as long as our community exists.
The King Black Dragon is a fiercesome beast with hide as black as night,
Three heads, six eyes, like glowing coals; all tremble at the sight.
A brave young knight named Hospiz ventured forth to bring its fall
Amidst a group of valiant hearts who answered to his call.
Link, Sam, Records, Fishtank, Hospiz - champions five
Yet one of them was fated not to leave the lair alive.
Alas! Poor Hospiz! Bitten by the dreaded plague of lag
Was frozen to the spot helpless, though ne’er did bravery flag.
The second head of dragon, bit him hard with teeth and fire
And caused our valiant, helpless knight to fall into the mire.
And as he fell, his friends looked on, aghast, and helpless all
To save their comrade from his journey to Valhalla’s hall.
Dear Hospiz, we will ne’er forget your hardcore bravery,
And yet rejoice we still shall see your iron heart play free!

Stopping by to bump up this thread! So glad to see that this chat has been going strong for all these years. It makes me smile to see all of the familiar faces that I was close years and years ago.
What I think would be nice, is eventually to get back into organizing events for the chat (and the F2P community in general). Those tend to (at least for me) bring a stronger sense of community, & it would be nice to have regular events can attend just to make things feel less of a grind!

I think this is a beautiful tradition. Whomever was the mastermind behind this is awesome.

It's been so lovely having you back with us again Apa! You have been very much missed! Thank you too for volunteering with our Community Activists team (and FC Mods team!). Looking forward to your ideas for events etc.

I wonder where we'll be able to make the FC as findable to those who don't know the specific FC name as these forums have provided for us over the years now the forums are closing. This is very sad.
