Thank you for taking initiative with that Kaw! Should be a fun event. It will be nice to quest with a large group, I'm sure. I still have requirements I need to work on though so I won't be able to participate unfortunately. I'll try to be on to cheer you guys on from the sidelines though hehe.
So the FC Event was a success! A bunch of people showed up together with people from Free Players Clan. Although we ended up getting scattered all over Tutorial Island, I enjoyed the Quest to the fullest.
This made me think we should do more of these. First thing that comes to mind is the weekly Q&A of Apa and Tree... Maybe we could do things like that for the FC? Like Fishing Fridays and stuff
I'm just babbling on, point is that I had a great time and I hope you guys did aswell. Cheers!
Kawai~
Thank you Kawaiiron for hosting a fun and well attended event!
I wish I could have stayed until the end, my poor Arbr**** Vie (silly filter censors out my iron account's name
)still hasn't finished it! lol
We all had some laughs though, ay?
Interesting ideas for other stuff you got there too! Might be fun to have something regular that we could all get together to do, those that want to at least. Though this isn't a clan, there's a strong community spirit has built up amoungst the regulars; we do seem to enjoy each other's company!
Oh and I think you've got the job of official FC events manager now Kaw.
Lol

I'm really glad that the event you hosted was a success Kaw.
It's a great feeling seeing a community come together like that in one spot. Hosting events definitely has rewards in its own way. I'd be interested in seeing some FC related events being hosted as well. There's quite a lot of "yet to be tapped" potential for things like that, and quite a lot of fun to be had in the process!
If you'd ever like help organizing something like that, just give me a poke & I'd be glad to help.
On a slightly heavier note, there is an issue that I feel needs to be discussed with the chat as a whole as soon as necessarily possible. Recently, there have been a couple players that have been rather dissatisfied with the way P2P discussions are 'dealt with' (not sure I'd use that term for it) in the chat. I'm proposing that we all set aside maybe 30 minutes on a pre-distinguished day to discuss this (in the most civil way possible, please) and perhaps arrange a mutual agreement between all of us & finally close the discussion, instead of having that particular issue cause a tear in the foreseeable future.
A couple things I'd like to mention, just as a reminder, or for those who did not know:
-This is
NOT
an elitist friend's chat. We do not discriminate against players who are on P2P or non-iron accounts. As it has been stated several times before, anybody is allowed in the friend's chat. Yes, the chat is mainly comprised of F2P iron accounts, but not exclusive.
-We do
NOT
have a "no tolerance" rule. It is appreciated that the P2P chat be kept to a minimum, as to not confuse the F2P players in the chat; that is all. There should be reminders given to the people engaging in such discussion to join "p2pironmanfc" clan chat as a guest to resume it openly.

-The main purpose of this chat is to "hang out with players who play the same way as you do, sharing advice and tips, asking questions, and socializing" - as quoted from the first post.
Please bear this in mind beforehand. While it is true that the majority of our FC base are F2P, we should not start excluding people only on the basis that they are P2P. That would only deter from an even larger audience who may perhaps shine more light to a yet unnoticed crowd of people who might be interested in joining to socialize. Remember- a lot of P2P players create F2P ironman accounts of their own. Once you start excluding a certain group of people & making them feel unwanted, the shine & luster that makes a chat like this great becomes dim & eventually fades into gentle dun with nothing remaining but an echo. I don't think any of you would want that.
^100% behind Apazos' post just above Zant's one. You've hit the nail on the head there Apa and I couldn't have explained it better myself. I've put links to your post here in the section about P2P accounts in the FC, on page one, post 4, too. Thank you Apa!
