•¤†¤• Featured Member of the Month •¤†¤•
What is a Featured Member of the Month?
Featured Member of the Month is a way to recognise our best members. It's essentially a way to reward members for their hard work in the clan, and help inspire more members to help out too. Everyone can nominate candidates for the Featured Member of the Month award.
Who should I nominate and how?
You can nominate any clan member, regardless of their rank, who is active in the Church and has made a difference to it. It could be someone who is constantly making interesting and fun events that you just love to attend. Or maybe someone who is very helpful answering all your questions and dealing with your problems. Or maybe someone who is always making fun and new intuitive ideas to help the clan out and keep members happy. Or maybe the person is just the life and soul of the Church threads or clan chat. Or perhaps they're even all of those?
How can I nominate someone?
If you think of someone deserving, then just send a PM with this person's account name to JJ The Sage and add a short explanation why you think this person deserves to be the clans Featured Member of the Month. This has to be in the third week of the month, so that on the fourth it can be voted on. We'll treat your nomination as confidential information and won't tell anyone who you nominated.
What happens after I send in my nomination?
We collect all the nominations, put those up for a vote amongst the College of Cardinals, who will pick the winner!
What's so good about being Featured Member of the Month?
The winner gets announced in one of our meetings and on our threads, gets an automatic promotion (assuming they're under the chat rank of Silver Star), a place on the thread's Hall of Recognition, and a cash prize of 500k. If that's not all too much to ask for, how about an actual smile from me?

Good day, (name). You successfully meet the required standards to join the Church of Saradomin, and I am honoured to officially accept you into the Church, at the rank of Acolyte. In order to be promoted to Priest, you must attend at least one event and bump once, and you can further rise through the ranks through hard work, commitment and dedication.
We use this Recruitment thread for bumping, posting important announcement and for Clan management, and our Clan Chat, 'JJ The Sage', is open to all members for general conversation and fun. Our weekly meetings every Sunday at 8pm Gmt / 3pm Eastern / 2pm Central are for all members to have a chance to express their opinions and any ideas they may have. At the Church of Saradomin, we try to ensure every member has an equal opportunity.
If you have any further questions or problems, please make sure to contact me, or a high ranked member, and I'm sure we can sort something out.

The Points System has been introduced as a way to reward hard workers, penalise inactive members, ensure only the elite are in the higher ranks, and to give members an alternative way to rise through the ranks, while encouraging activity. There are many different ways to gain points, but there are also ways to lose points, and gain negative points. Another form of Points exists called "Prestige", which you gain at the same rate and at the same time as normal points, but they are permanent and cannot be spent. They show your dedication and activity in the Church.
•¤†¤• How to gain points •¤†¤•
• Attending an Event: 2 points
• Attending a Military Training: 3 points
• Attending a Church Meeting: 4 points
• Having an idea of yours put to action: 5 points
• Organising an Event: 4 points
• Bumping at least 7 times a week: 3 points
• Recruiting a new member: 5 points
• However, points can be lost by refusing to attend an event, breaking Clan or Jagex rules, etc.

• Promotion (2 lines to 3 lines): 20 points
• Promotion (3 lines to Bronze star): 40
• Promotion (Bronze star to Silver): 60
• Gold star for a week: 45 points

• One day suspension: -5 points
• Official investigation: -7 points
• One week suspension: -10 points
• Official trial: -15 points
• Final decision by the Pope: -16+ points

• Promotion: All promotions through points require the confirmation of the Pope.
• Promotion (2 lines to 3 lines): Your chat rank is promoted from 2 lines to 3.
• Promotion (3 lines to Bronze star): Your chat rank is promoted from 3 lines to a Bronze star.
• Promotion (Bronze star to Silver): Your chat rank is promoted from a Bronze star to a Silver.
• Pass from bumping for a whole week: You are excused from bumping clan threads for a week.
• Gold Star for a week: Your chat rank is temporarily promoted to a Gold star for one week, after confirmation from the Pope first.
• Remaining in a position: To remain in certain positions, you must reach a certain amount of points each month, which will be deducted at the end of every month. In the event you do not reach the amount, you will be temporarily demoted till you gain the required amount.

• Attending an Event, Military Training or Church Meeting: Your name must be included in the official list of attendants posted after said Event.
• Having an idea of yours put into action: Your idea must have been agreed on either in an official Church meeting or by the Pope.
• Organising an Event: You must have organised an official event with confirmation, and with at least five members attending. You must also post a list of attendants after the Event.
• Bumping at least 7 times a week: The posts must have been at least five minutes a part.
• Recruiting a new member: The new member must be accepted and given a chat rank.

Many things can influence your Clan Chat rank, whether it be the position you hold or simply a promotion that was given to you. For this reason, your Clan Chat rank may be higher than the position you hold, but that can only be a testament to you're good work! However, in some instances you may have a lower chat rank than you should have, this can be for many different reasons, such as a temporary demotion or punishment.
