I'm not sure which guide to recommend, but I do 3 runs after my pouches degrade, before repairing. That way you still make the max number of Natures, before taking the time to repair. Anyone who knows better, feel free to correct me.
(Oh and I just grab a new dueling ring and put it on while running to the alter. I then fill that inventory space with an ess from my pouches before crafting at the alter)
