I, Sid Doktor, shall dedicate myself to my fellow kinsmen. I shall honour my ancestors with words and deed. I shall, in all events, uphold the Fremennik Law.

The Feyrk-Varangian Concordat
The Forging of an Alliance


On this afternoon, the 28th of Wintumber, the tribe of the Varangians and that of the Feyrks, under the rule of Chieftain Sid Doktor and Chieftain Jor Ulfrsson, respectively; have come together in collective cooperation and in honour of shared ancestry and culture in order to forge an alliance between their two people.


To honour this alliance, both the Varangians and the Feryks have agreed upon the following terms and conditions:

1. ) The free men and women of the Varangians and the Feyrks are permitted to pass between and move about the area within each others borders.
a. Neither the Varangians, nor the Feyrks are permitted to use, exploit or settle land within the borders of eachother's tribes.

2.) The Varangians and the Feyrks shall accompany one another in battle, fighting together as one, should war be declared upon either of their tribes.
a. This document automatically becomes void if either the tribe of the Varangians or the Feryks attacks and lays siege upon the other.

3.) The Varangians and the Feyrks shall aid one another economically, should aid at any time become necessary; this is in order to ensure that both tribes remain capable of providing for the welfare of their people during times of peace, struggle, and conflict.

4.) As an objective for both tribes, the Varangians and the Feyrks shall achieve an approximate population of 10,000 tribesmen, each. (10 tribesmen)

* This written document once signed shall expire in three months, or ninety-days, on the fifth of Bennath. (March 25th)
