Rank Rules


1. Higher ranks do not make you better than anyone else.
2. DO NOT make fun of someone's rank.
3. DO NOT beg for promotions.
» Asking how to earn a promotion is fine.
4. Ranks are earned; you are not entitled to any rank for any reason.
5. Show that you deserve your rank, or you will be given one that you are more deserving of.
» This can result in promotion or demotion.

Promotion Policies for Admin Use


1. Promotions are done approximately every 2 weeks.
» Stripe ranks have a 2-week promotion cooldown
» Star ranks have a 6-week promotion cooldown
2. Members cannot be promoted twice within these periods OR bypass ranks.
» Needs Deputy+ approval
3. Unless specifically noted, all promotions need approval from 1 Coordinator+
» Can be vetoed by 1 Key+ (highest rank takes priority vote)
» Must notify Sicariu of all promotions for record-keeping
4. Admin promotions are discussed on a monthly basis.

Maintenance/Capping Policies


1. As a PvM clan, bossing is our priority.
» No one should be forced to cap Citadel in a PvM clan
» All citadel work is done voluntarily
2. There are Citadel Resource Gathering Events after every Build Tick.
» One Avatar MUST be reserved to benefit those who wish to skill in the Citadel at Reset.
3. Skill Plots in which resources are no longer needed for maintenance may be locked.
» This prevents an unneeded surplus of resources for the clan.
4. DO NOT complain if a Skill Plot you wish to use is locked.
» We are a PvM clan, not a Citadel/Skilling clan.
» If you have any questions/comments, PM Sicariu.
5. All upgrades/changes to the Citadel are handled by Sicariu.

Note: Now that we have a T7 Citadel, Skillplots will only be locked if we gather an excessive amount of unneeded resources, or <48hrs before reset if weekly upkeep is not met.

Admin+ Ranks:


Note: Admins are subject to the same XP criteria as non-Admins

1. Deputy Owners are granted a tenured position.
» This is permanent unless planning to quit RS and never return.
2. Overseers are allowed a 3 month inactivity period.
» Shortened to 2 months if P2P status is lost
3. Coordinators through Admins are granted a 2 month inactivity period.
» Shortened to 1 month if P2P status is lost
4. Inactive Admin+ will be demoted to General with the clan job [inactive clanmate] until they return.

Under Admin:


1. XP Gain Requirement: 300k XP/month
» Being active on Discord = 75k XP reduction
» Being active on Forums = 75k XP reduction
¤ With Reductions:
»» 1 reduction = 225k XP/month
»» 2 reductions = 150k XP/month

2. Activity Checks: take place on the 1st of each month
» Everyone is granted 4 free months of inactivity.
» After those 4 months, inactives are subject to their specific activity criteria. (in post below)
¤ Notification of extended inactivity will be dealt with as follows:
»» You will not qualify as an inactive member until 6 months after your notice is given.
»» If exceeding 6 months, you will be labeled as inactive starting the month you said you would return

3. Consequences for Inactivity:
» 1/3 of your allowed inactivity period will result in -1 rank (if possible)
» 2/3 of your allowed inactivity period will result in demotion to recruit (if possible)
» reaching your full allowed inactivity period will result in a kick

4. Every clan member is judged individually on how long they are permitted to be inactive.

In order to fairly enforce policies for inactive members, we do not have one set time frame for all clan members to be inactive before receiving demotions/kicks. Instead, everyone is judged individually based on the following criteria: Clan Rank, Clan Loyalty, Clan XP.

1. Clan Rank (before going inactive)
» Recruit: No benefit
» Corporal: +1 alloted month
» Sergeant: +2 allotted months
» Lieutenant: +3 allotted months
» Captain: +4 allotted months
» General: +5 allotted months

2. Clan Loyalty (consecutive time spent in clan)
» 0 to 4 months: No benefits
» 5 to 8 months: +1 allotted month
» 9 to 12 months: +2 allotted months
» 13 to 18 months: +3 allotted months
» 19 to 24 months: +4 allotted months
» 2 to 3 years: +5 allotted months
» 3+ years: +6 allotted months

3. Clan XP (total xp gained since joining)
» 0 to 20m: No benefits
» 20m to 50m: +1 allotted month
» 50m to 100m: +2 allotted months
» 100m to 200m: +3 allotted months
» 200m to 350m: +4 allotted months
» 350m to 500m: +5 allotted months
» 500m+: +6 allotted months

Using the above to establish inactivity time frames, it gives the following:

1. Maximum time frame: 21 months of inactivity before getting kicked
» Scenario: General rank, 3+ years in clan, 500m+ clan xp
2. Minimum time frame: 4 months of inactivity before getting kicked
» Scenario: Recruit rank, 4 months or less in clan, less than 20m clan xp

Example:

Rsn: Player1, Rank: Sergeant, Time in Clan: 15 months, Clan Xp: 195M

Player1 would be granted 2 months of inactivity for rank + 3 months for time spent in clan + 3 months for total clan xp + 4 free months (that everyone gets) = 12 months maximum

This means, Player1 would be demoted to Corporal after 4 months of inactivity, demoted to Recruit after 8 months of inactivity, and kicked after 12 months. ~ Sicariu

Kicks


Note: Kicks should be handled using your best judgement . Should you require a second opinion before kicking someone, don't hesitate to discuss the issue with others.

1. Kicks are meant for:
» Serious offenses against the clan as a whole
» Unresolved, repeated issues
» Breaking clan rules on multiple occasions
2. Issues that will cause immediate removal from the clan include:
» Breaking Jagex Rules, Luring (attempts), Scamming (attempts)
3. Requests for kicks are to be IGNORED. (e.g. Can someone kick me please? )
4. All kicks should be handled by Coordinator+ Ranks
» Organisers and Admins should report issues to these ranks unless the offense is too serious to delay immediate removal from the clan.
5. Kicks for spamming the CC (by any means) should not be issued unless:
» The CC has been muted at least once AND a clear warning has been issued
6. Kicking an Admin+ rank can only be done following a formal vote.
» Includes Inactive Admins
7. Blatant kicks of no valid cause will result in removal of Admin status and most likely clan membership

Demotions


1. Demotions should be applied for repeat offenses of minor rule breaking.
» All ranks are to be warned at least once prior to being demoted.
» In some cases, the demotion can serve as its own warning.
2. Demotions for rule breaking DO NOT reserve your previous rank; it must be earned again.
3. Rule breaking among Admin+ ranks may lead to:
» A precautionary, temporary demotion to General until the issue is resolved
» Reconsideration of your status, meaning Admin+ may never be returned after losing it ~ Sicariu

Banning Policies


1. Bans from NSNS are labeled as Temporary or Permanent; both are dealt with separately
2. All Admin+ have the authority to Ban any non-clan members at their discretion
» Temp & Perm Ban labels are issued by Key+
3. Ban statuses can only be disclosed upon request by PMing Key+
4. Players who are a risk, yet not serious enough a problem, are labeled KOS (Kick-on-Sight)

KOS :

» Issued to anyone who could potentially be an issue in our CC
- Includes, but not limited to: pkers, noobs, all F2P, elitist clans, rival clans
» KOS is mostly precautionary as most people on this list have never been in our CC
» Removal requires approval from 1 Key+

Temp :

» Issued to: all members kicked from NSNS (1 week minimum) & problematical guests
» Needs approval from 1 Key+ rank to be unbanned

Perm :

» Issued to: guests who surpass temp ban & players who have severely broken clan rules
» Unbanning process is as follows:

1. The banned player must appeal to any Admin+ rank who will vouch for their removal
2. A discussion will follow consisting of all parties involved in the banning of that person
3. A final vote will take place among all Key+ ranks that must result in a unanimous Yes

¤
If Yes
:
» If re/joining the clan, they will be indefinitely under watch and receive no warnings for rule breaking before demotions/kick from clan
» If guesting, they will immediately be Banned again if disruptions continue

¤
If No
:
» The Ban will remain indefinitely
» It can be appealed again 6 months after this decision
» If a 2nd appeal is denied, the Ban becomes absolute with no potential for removal

Perm Bans can expire if the player is no longer on the HiScores, or 1 year after the last incident occured
» Removal requires 1 Key+ ~ Sicariu
