I would like to officially retract my statement that I give this august community a season. With help from the obnoxious gay ed8ers and the mighty TFT (population: 16) we will have at least two seasons

It's Territorial Theme-based Polities, you ignorant pissing contests.

This community is STILL a work in progress, and I've been busy IRL.

It's been well over a year since anyone has slighted anyone with any insulting or offensive statement. Have you seriously nothing better to do than to make immature. provocative and trolling comments which derail this thread and attempt to portray my campaign and work in a negative light? You know full well what you're doing and you're doing it anyways.

You don't like what I'm doing?
You think it's stupid?
You don't think it'll work?

Here's a classic quote: "Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was your guys' reputation as douche bags."

Do yourselves a favour and fuck off . Go shit elsewhere. I don't have the patience or the tolerance to deal with your attempts to impress your clique of friends with dumbass comments and inside jokes.

What? You didn't expect this response?

You think I care what the moderators think?

Because I do.

I respect them. I respect their authority and admire them for upholding the rules, and I perfectly respect their decision to remove this post and mute me after I've made my point:

Go. Away.

Actually, I think my reputation was built in a day. I became pretty infamous after Halloween 2009.

While we're on the subject, let me give you some pointers from one professional to a wanna-be: You can't intimidate someone if you have nothing to back it up with. Are you and the 5 members of TFT going to rain down upon us? Get real.

P.S. your post doesn't shock/scare/surprise anyone. GL with this vanity project.

P.P.S. went into your clan chat to leave a message and it was empty LOL

His CC was empty? Must have been why he wanted to stay in our clan chat after calling us "Obnoxious Gladitards."

Good luck, buddy, I hope this attempt pans out. But I doubt it will--not because of your aptitude (you are no doubt qualified), but because the Runescape community honestly no longer has people who are interested in online roleplay in the depth that you seek. You're fishing off an island where all the fish have already moved away.

There is a reason that the clans of the W83 POC community have all done one of the following: moved on to do their own thing (non-RP related), joined W103, or disbanded.

It's not because the some of the leadership is inept as you might think. The history of leaders of W83 in the past is storied with tales of people who were even worse than Dianne or Lali, but the community drove on. Do you know why?

It's because there were people interested.

I understand this is your passion, but you're bankrupt about 4 times now on an idea that NO ONE wants to support anymore. If they do, they stick with you for a year, learn about something else in the game, and move on. There may be a handful of exceptions, but that's basically the limit of what you will achieve. It's just a fact about the state of RP clans in modern-day Runescape.

~

One more piece of evidence I'll provide for you is W103. If I'm not mistaken, you and others have critiqued it as not being true to Roleplay, and things of that nature. Yet it has been wildly successful, much more than you have ever achieved with your RP attempts. It's because that sort of very loose RP is what people like nowadays. You've got to get with the times, or you will meet failure every time .

I'll leave you with this extremely accurate meme:

Again, good luck, buddy. But please see reason.

P.S. Yet another piece of evidence supporting my point, W103 is beginning to falter and stagnate. Have you noticed they have been gradually creeping closer to a heavy-roleplay environment, away from 'our' side of the spectrum and closer to yours? I can surely say that it is not coincidental. No one nowadays is interested in that sort of stuff. Not on Runescape.

Your clan was not the only one I had visited, Ryan.

The "new leaders" of the Kingdom of Ashdale were fairly cooperative and impressively cordial with my presence there in their channel this morning; promising that action would be taken against the person in question should they continue. Your clan, on the other hand, was nothing more than a collection of trolls, (except for Sherkayln, they were nice, and Canadian) making slight at me every time I said that I was leaving, fueling the fire in order to have the final word and elicit an additional response on my part.

As for 103, not once did I critique the roleplay of the community in its current state. In fact, I've applauded Epic Fool for having implemented that rule which requires clans to provide a story along with their actions. If anything, I've suggested improvements here and there and attempted to prod them in a different direction, but that's not secret.

This community, if successful, would provide a balanced medium between innovative roleplay, warfare, and social gatherings/events, as the World 103 community has done. However, it will not only be centered around those, but moreso about the general survival and development of a nation, economically and culturally; starting with little, gathering resources, exploration, researching new technologies, conducting trade, etc, etc. coupled with randomly generated resources and events, which may benefit or hinder you.

I'm not hoping to attract everyone, only a few; because this concept is only manageable with only a few, unless assisted with a dedicated, offsite program. This community would be great with three active, average-sized clans around 50-90 people. Each and every one member within those clans would also be involved in the community, if not directly --in directly.

That's what, 150 - 270 people? Perfect sized community. And even if only 10%, 15 - 27 people were directly involved in the process, that's also perfectly fine.
