I am pleased to announce that Trips will be taking over my position as leader of R Quark, effective June 1st.

I first joined rare quark in October 2011, and have proudly led it since March 2012, but, as you all know, I actively stopped playing this game many years ago, and the time has long since come to pass the torch. Over the past 5 and a half years I have met thousands of people, and made dozens of friends, some of who I still talk to to this day.

Thanks to Charm Quark, for entrusting me with the friendschat you created, and thanks to all of the ranks, and non ranks, who have been involved in what has been one of the busiest and most helpful communities in the game.

Special thanks to Chesse Pie, Zaka, Hendrik, Farming Nemo, Harmy, Bond4evr, Lee M, Infernal Yak, S Z, Trips, Gold Duckii, Since1980, Rat11j, Harv, 9th, Cyderman, and Scope, for all the assistance and friendship you gave to me and the chat over the years.

I will be returning to summer camp in 6 weeks, but i'll still be around on my main (this) account until then.

Trips will be the sole, permanent, owner of R quark, effective June 1st. I am sure he, with the help of the admins, will be a capable leader.

Congratulation Trips, and I'm sorry for the burden that you are assuming. I wish you the best of luck.

Lyra, thank you so much for all that you did for many years. You were the clear choice to take over when Charm handed down the FC, just like Trips is the clear choice now. Your contributions won't be forgotten. I hope that you still stop by from time to time to say hello, and I wish you all the best going forward.

Thanks Lyra for all that you've done over the past five years as owner. You were the first 'true' pricer in Rare Quark and were well deserving of your promotions and eventual ownership. The past few years of being an admin under your guidance has really helped me grow into a role model for others. Although I'm sad to see you go, I know you have a brighter future ahead of you outside of the Quark community. I hope the best to you moving forward.

You are truly a wonderful leader and friend.
