Hello,

I'd like to appeal my ban if possible. Hyles let me know I was banned for manipulative posts and trolling.

I dont deny trolling, but I never manipulated. If I created any threads or replies which contained manipulation it was mockery of some person who was manipulating. I contend that I have never manipulated. Also, I think the R Quark rule of not being able to post the quantity of your sells should be implemented in all price check threads as its ******* stupid to let people say "sold 20 of x" any cases where I posted something along those lines was a response to someone else who did it, and an attempt to show how absurd it is that people can do that on the forums.

Anyways, I always posted legit prices in forums and threads, and if you're going to ban me for being a ****, thats fair, but I'm not a manip.

While doing a hat upgrade/downgrade often times mid of current range is inaccurate and accounts for a super high/low price. I think it'd be better to take the average of the previous 3 lower hat trades as a base number + whatever money was involved.

I would agree with this, although I think if they then sell the hat and get that trade confirmed, then we should value the trade at whatever the hat was sold for, as I feel this gives a better idea of what they bought the hat for.

For example,

I sell a Green for a Yellow plus 1b (just using example prices and easy numbers. :P )

If the past three yellow trades were: 4100/4200/4150 (average: 4150)

Then the trade would be valued at 5150m for the Green.

However, if I was then to sell the Yellow for 4200m and confirm that trade, then the new Green valuation would become 5200m.

This would make a little bit more work for Ferenc (he would have to keep more information (i.*. the names of the traders involved) for any trades that involve upgrading/downgrading party hats, but I think it would give us a more accurate representation of what the hat was bought/sold for.

The decision of your KOS/ban status is being discussed, but I can respond to this....

The Discontinued Item Status threads have very limited power over what we can and can't restrict people from posting. The only posts that we can stop people from posting are posts that are very obviously manipulative or posts that spam, troll, flame other players, etc. We cannot restrict players from posting quantities if they so wish as it is perfectly within the Forum Specific Rules for the Item Discussion forum.
