Well our involvement sort of came to be with my relationship with Sulaiman400 who was leader of another Rellekka POC, who later joined with us. We joined his ladder, the RSB Variety Ladder, which had a lower league for clans with a 100 or below level requirement. Having no requirements to join besides finishing Fremennik Trials, we put our luck to the ladder. We were met with huge success, winning our first three wars and taking first place on the ladder. We fought a clan called Vengeance led by Saragirl555 to take first place on the ladder. It was a major success for us because we were relatively small on the RSB scene and here we were beating a known name and a clan with significantly higher levels than our own. Sara and I definitely did not see eye to eye to say the least... and N+J admittedly did its fair share of flaming after the war was over in the excitement. She fought to get our spot taken away, but luckily we kept it with some anti-immunity for a few weeks. After this war I made it a point to my POC that discipline and respect were just as important during battles as was winning them.
After taking first place, I installed a recruit training program into the POC to train new recruits in basic war tactics, such as piling, calling, and tanking, among other things. Many people who join POCs have relatively low background in warring, as that was/is not something POCs are majorly known for.
POCs were relatively unknown altogether on the RSB in the clan community and it was something I fought for while leader at N+J. While there were many Ranking threads like the Bulletin, Gazette, etc. there was little to no representation of POCs on these threads. POCs had just as much of a rich, possibly even richer, history and environment than regular clans did, and one of my goals as leader was to have the POC community recognized by clans, who some I think saw POCs as inferior versions. That was one of my points in rising to the top of the ladders.
