Well if memory serves me correctly I use to go on the forums as a F2P member, and this was when you had to be a member to post on the forums, So I remember I was looking through them one day and found a Skilling clan, it was called a forum company officially. The basics of this were that it was a clan centered around a few skills and people would order from this company and we would all skill together to complete this order and deliver it. It was actually fun, at least back then. So I found this company by the name of BLS Forum Company and I pmed the leaders and asked if I could join as a F2P and they let me.
I finally started playing consistently enough so I decided to say **** it and go ahead and purchase membership and enjoy the full aspects of the game. Well eventually that BLS forum company eventually fell apart and the creator and I became friends towards the end of its reign and he told me about POCS and one in particular called the Kingdom of Varrock that he had been apart of in 2005, we even had some page on our thread that stated "sponsored by the Kingdom of Varrock" So I started to check out the various POCS that were around at the time even hanging out in some clan chats discretely until picking the one to join. The Kingdom of Avalon.
Well the Kingdom of Avalon was a POC that inhabited the Camelot and Ardy areas of World 83. It was led by Kv and Silver Fox, as well as high ranking members such as Bduke and Corporal99 to name a few. So everyone can get the picture that world 83 just recycles the same trash over and over again. If memory serves me correctly it was a break off of Robertjones' Poc The Tree Gnome Kingdom. Another fun fact was that Krisimay actually use to hang out in the clan chat in those days as a guest. So we see that everyone is connected in some way or another.
My experience was good, I had fun in it actually a lot of my friends in BLS came over and it was a great way to introduce my self to the Poc experience. As time went on I actually started rising in the ranks and received a Silver star for my recruiting efforts and attending events (back in the old clan chat ranking system). After about 2 months or so I began to grow a little unhappy I wanted more of a Kingdom feel, a role playing atmosphere. I felt that Avalon was a little to clan like for my taste and I wanted to explore other options, so I made the decision to leave and join the POC that I had intended to join all along the Kingdom of Varrock.
Decent.

Just had that basic clan structure, no subclan or anything that Kov offered. It was based on points and everyone was grouped according to levels.
My first days in Kov were great. When I joined I already knew a few people, such as Countjeff who was a Lord and I became his Lord assistant (yes they had that job back then) Kov was really in a great era, compare it to today standards and you would question if it was the same clan. We had positions filled, activity booming, everyone wanted to be involved, everyone wanted to earn a high rank and strive to make the place better.
The King and Queen at the time were Yarrielle and Vepviper, and I've always been a fan of the job Yarrielle did during her time, you certainly saw the time and effort she put in into making and maintaining it an elite POC status. During my early days I joined the Guards and helped Countjeff by being his Lord Assistant (Can't remember what my duties were but I did host events and such) I was really involved from day one and I loved the golden age atmosphere it had.
Well after three weeks of being in Kov I was promoted to Lord of Canifis which was a silver star in those days. I was pretty stoked to say the least. Back then the Lord/Lady job really had no set responsibilities my job was to host events once and a while and to monitor the clan chat, but in reality this job was no more then just a waiting area for Princes and Princesses to be chosen from, everyone was your competition, everyone wanted to be a royal and it was no secret either and haha let me tell you that the waiting process was just awful, they had Lords who had been waiting for over 6 months just to be selected and sometimes people were left in that position to rot away.
I served as Lord of Canifis for about 5-6 months, by this point I was a ambitious little ****, all I wanted was power, to be apart of the royal team. I eventually got a little agitated seeing the Head Lord become Prince and then being passed up for the Head Lord position. Around this time I had become good friends with another ambitious, power hungry **** like myself General Nhs. He and Vepviper and a few others began meeting in his clan chat in regards to leaving KOV and starting a new clan, I was invited to be apart of these meetings, eventually I agreed to join them since I was offered to be Prince if I joined them. This group consisted of current Kov members as well as former ones, and various veterans from the old poc community.
We then left and created our clan which was known the Kingdom of Annakral, which only lasted a short period of time. We had been actively looking for world 83 land and we decided to merge our Kingdom with a dying world 83 clan that controlled the areas of Yanille, Lux Et Umbra. The Kingdom of Annakral and Lux Et Umbra decided to merge and create what is now known as the Kingdom of Yanille.
Decent.
