My first rank? I don't recall which really came first. Eventually after I had grown accustomed to the POC way of life I started joining different subclans and what not. I remember being a ranger in the army, a ship captain in the navy, along with I don't know how many other odd and end jobs throughout the Kingdom.

The very first position I held that put me in a somewhat important role in K0V though was Royal Advisor to queen Fallnxxangel. I managed to get that one during a particularly interesting time period where (if I'm not getting my events mixed up) we were being harassed by a fella known as *xac. The usual nonsense, forum spam, ingame harassment including event crashing, threatening to take our land, yada yada yada. As I recall there was a meeting held in K0V where we were discussing how to deal with him. At the time I was severely hot headed, more so than I am today if you can believe that, and I kept preaching about how warring him was the only to end his trolling/harassment/whatever you want to call it. It was shortly after this meeting that I was promoted to Falln's royal advisor. I don't think we ever did actually go to war with him, not completely anyhow.

Between that time and becoming a royal I honestly don't remember much. I do remember being the Arch Chancellor's advisor or whatever his second in command was at the time, then being confused about being promoted to co-Arch Chancellor while we already had one. Some time after that I remember Queen Falln leaving K0V, some more drama within the royals ranks if I recall. Her princesses were being... unruly? Yea lets go with that. However before leaving I guess she talked Joe into making me a prince.

I sat at that position for quite some time, even somehow managing to hold onto it after Joe left and Toc became king. That is significant because we actually rebelled against him during his reign, in what some people call the rebellion of the rising sun or whatever. By "we" I mean Lil Angel, myself and two others. Truth be told yes I disapproved how Toc ran things and I almost threw in the towel during his reign because of it, but my reasoning behind joining up with the rebellion was for the thrill. I'm not proud of it but when you are that age and you think you can make a difference by forming an underground resistance it seems like a good idea.

Our tactic was to use alternate accounts to spam and cause chaos in the chat, eventually turning the clan against him and allowing us to "bring Joe back" as Lil Angel put it. Needless to say it didn't go as planned.
Somehow Toc found out and in my opinion foolishly offered a pardon and confidentiality to whomever came forward. I figured it wasn't worth it anymore and accepted the pardon. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about saving my hide as well, because by then I had grown to love K0V like a second family.

Shortly afterwards however Toc did end up leaving, placing (I get the next two kings mixed up) Kynann in charge who then left it to Zygon, who in turn left it to Yugioha.
Yugi however went away for three months on vacation and thus we were left without a king and bunch of unhappy members. Levianelf who was queen at the time tried to replace him with Tonyhughes aka Emulated but that didn't go over well. Personally I swear it only lasted for a couple of hours because I could only get involved in the debate on the forums using my PS3 but others say it was a couple of days. Either way you look at it however he ended up leaving.

After that I guess we had a temporary king. Something tells me it was Lil Leon0 because he was with Levian at the time and you can put two and two together. I do reserve the right to be wrong on that though so please don't bite my head off if I am.

After another one of our internal conflicts the previous heir to the K0V throne left a long with a few other members of K0V and formed their own clan. I don't actually recall the details of any of this and I do apologize but you have to remember it was a terribly long time ago and I only remember small flashbacks. What I do remember is that the then temporary king and Levian were holding interviews for the next heir. Don't ask me why, It's how they decided to do it.

I showed up for the interview, not because I wanted the position but because I wanted to ask them about reopening a subclan called the Varrock reconstruction something or another. I don't recall the full name but it was opened up as a kind of think tank by some of the royals and other key members of the clan to try and find a way out of the slump now called the dark ages. Well the temporary king had his pm off soI figured I would crash the interviews and ask him there. They gave me permission to reopen it, which was awesome and I later found out they decided to pick me as the new heir because apparently they felt I was the best guy for the job. That should show how bad things had gotten.

Some time after that Leon left and naturally the heir was chosen to take over the role of temporary king. If I said I did an amazing job I would be lying, if I said I was bad it would be an understatement. It was a lot of stress and I didn't handle any of the issues I was presented with well. Lucky for me Yugi came back. Being the nice guy he was he offered to let me keep the position but I don't think he quite understood who he was talking to at the time. I handed it back to him without a second thought.

As Yugi got settled in as the new king I did my best to help him. We would talk about issues plaguing K0V at the time and I would give him ideas an how best to resolve them. Obviously I didn't do all the thinking, it was more of a 50/50 kind of deal. Some of my ideas would be too aggressive and some of his would be two passive. Between the two of us though we managed to find what seemed to be the perfect medium and things started to work out. It's worth mentioning that it was during this period Yarrielle came to K0V and became princess, and that she helped out a lot as well.

It seemed we had the perfect thing going but Yugi decided it was time to go and left. He was probably the few royals in K0V who didn't leave under some level of controversy. It was at this point I became king.

Keep in mind I'm trying to recall things that happened well before 2009, so don't hate me if I have some of my facts wrong.

Well... my first week as king was rather interesting. At the time we had a lot of "pie people" as Yarrielle called them, in royal positions, people who had become accustomed to being allowed to sit around and do nothing while still reaping the benefits of royalty.
This was a problem that Yugi passed onto me unfortunately. He started to work on a solution by assigning each individual royal a specific job. I can remember him asking me what jobs I would suggest because he was having trouble coming up with responsibilities for the princesses, to which I suggested to assign a prince and a princess to each role. He loved the idea and put it into place, but ultimately it failed and they were still as useless as ever.

I forget what it was that happened but there was an incident in the chat where I either told somebody off or completely kicked them for being an ass, and I guess the other royals didn't like it or felt like their lazy way of life was being threatened or something stupid like that. I'm probably over glorifying myself there but in the end the result is the same. They called me into one of their chats and gave me an ultimatum. I was to promise them that I was going to "keep the best interests of the citizens of K0V at heart" or they were going to walk out the door.
Seems harmless enough but from my perspective they were wanting me to kiss their asses and I wasn't about to have that. I told them not to let the door hit them on the way out and all but two of my royals ended up leaving that day including; Toc who came back and was made a princess by Yugi (against my advise), Popz who was queen at the time, and actually that's all I remember for the time being. The two that remained were Green and Yarrielle.

I worked very closely with Yarrielle, even before that time. Like I said previously she helped Yugi and myself out quite a bit, and she continued to be helpful even after Yugi left. Now I know I just said this but I feel it needs to be reiterated, she was extremely helpful and when she wasn't sure about something she always waited and asked me before acting. I guess she felt that because I had been there for a while I knew what I as doing. It was because of this that I made her queen.
Now in actuality I had a vote among the populous of K0V between the princesses and Yar won in a land slide.

I don't remember much else between then and when I left, in fact my memory of the time is so foggy that I used to think I was King for several months, 6 at least, but after a couple years of cooling down and talking with my old royal advisor Lee King aka Bard aka Dan, I came to the realization that it was probably only a couple months tops.
During that time period though I slowly retreated from view of the clan. Sure I sat in the chat but I was distant and distracted. I tried my best to remain involved but it just wasn't happening and I ended up leaving. Just about everyone knows that story by now, despite my trying to hide it for several years so I won't go through the details if it's not necessary. It wasn't fun I will say that much and made me rethink who my friends were at the time.

Popz left with Toc after I refused to kiss his ass. In her defense she didn't leave directly because of my response to Toc but because her and several of the others all said they would leave it the others did. It was one of those "You jump I jump" deals. They made their own clan, Something of Keldagrim. I don't recall if it was a kingdom or what but it was up in the Keldagrim area.

I can give you several reasons for why I retreated from view in an attempt to demonize Yar for what she did. I could tell you that my parents had divorced, or that my grandparents had passed away, or that my dog whom I've had since I was five (and grown extremely attached to) had to be put down because of his arthritis. I could tell you all that and how they each affected but they would be nothing but excuses. I grew distant (for what ever reasons I had) and no longer was able to perform my job to the people of K0V. This however does not excuse Yar of her deeds (in my opinion).

My removal... as I said it was not fun. I grew distant from K0V and cared less about what was going on. It was during this time Yar presented me with candidates for royals, and I readily agreed to most of them without a second thought. This allowed her to get who she wanted into the positions she needed. Now I'm not going to go full blown crazy conspiracy theorist here and say she planned all of this ahead of time, but I do believe eventually she saw an opportunity and exploited it. After my several attempts and promises to K0V that I would turn myself around the royals convened and I was the topic of discussion.

I decided to take a week's vacation from K0V, because by that time all I did outside of events was sit in my POH and watch the chat. I hoped that actually playing the game for a bit would help rekindle my love of the game and thus help me interact with the clan more.
It was also agreed (by everyone but myself) that Vepviper, my heir, would take over handling the recruitment thread while I was on vacation. If you knew anything about me at the time you would know I would have been firmly against this. I had held it for quite some time prior and considered it my baby. Unfortunately I was overruled...

Two or three days into my vacation (March 7th 2009), as I was traveling the elf lands dressed as a hobo ( yea I know) I got a message from one of the princesses asking me to meet her in her POH. I was rather displeased by this because it was a far walk but I went never the less. When I got there Yar had already arrived.
This princess and Yar began pitching to me this idea of giving Vep the title of king and creating the new role of elder king, who would have the ability to over see and make the final decision for the most important of kingdom decisions. It was essentially an over glorified royal advisor position.
I got mad and left, walked around for a bit and after I cooled off decided to hear them out. So I called them both to my POH and told them to drop the sugar coating and tell me exactly what they wanted.

Yar didn't give it a second thought and told me she wanted me out. Needless to say I had no other choice. She ran the chat, and Vep ran the forums, I was powerless. So I called everyone in K0V who was online that night to Varrock square and passed the title of king down to Vep.

That's how that happened.
