Welcome former friends and foes to the Runescape Mafia Network, before we begin let me clarify that this thread is not an ill fated attempted at reviving our former genre as the title may suggest, but rather act as our history archive before it is lost forever. The idea of using the network title is simply the best way to draw the attention of as many of our former associates so we can fill in many of the holes in our history that time has forgot.
As we look back through the years gone by (13 as of 2020) since the earliest of us originally began to interact with each other back in 2007, we have seen the creation, the rise and the fall of countless families; the formation of alliances that would span years and made enemies of each other for some of the most futile of reasons which led to eventual dissolution of our community around 2011 and each of us took off and went it alone.
Unfortunately in the time that has past, we have lost so many important threads here on the forums that used to be rich in our history, individual family threads, former networks and the loss of the turf database which housed information on every single family that had once been in our network.
The hope is we set aside our old grievances from years gone by and we can work together with the limited memories and references we have left to fill in our history. We will begin by using information from the locked former network thread originally from 2011 as a foundation, however even that was written years after certain events took place and contains many mistakes and timeline conflicts. Anything we can recall, please see if you have any old references to aid in our endeavour.
