A series of four letters were wax sealed and signed by Sora Verus before being sent out to their four respective recipients in four separate cities in New Misthalin:

Honorary Lord Gace, of Falador

I have taken a portion of the food stores from the Varrock Palace and sent them to you to distribute among your people following the recent Kingdom food storage. We thank you for your continued support for the battle against the pirates, the MLF, and for your support of the Crown in general.

Noble Lady Zahra Itsu,

I am overjoyed to have finally found a way to contact you. I will make a bold and, quite possibly, false assumption in saying you have likely heard of me in either the Varrock or Wushankin papers over the past few months. If you have not, I will only say that I am leading the battle against the corrupt and two-faced leaders of our respective homes. I believe we have a very similar outlook on the way politics and society are turning; I may even suggest we have very similar plans for the future. I will be traversing the outskirts of Menaphos in the coming month and I wanted to suggest we meet and discuss current events. Enclosed is a way to reach me with your answer, if you deem me worthy.

I look forward to your response,
Azazel,
Grand Lord of the Morytanian Liberation Front

To her Majesty, Queen Sora Verus of Kingdom of Varrock

,.•°“*ï†ï*“°•.,`'°«„†„»°'´,.•°“*ï†ï*“°•.,

My dear friend Sora,
I am pleased to at last hear from you. I was beginning to worry that the situation has turned sour in the few days since I awoken from Asim's curse.

My advisors wish for me to wait a while longer before touring the islands, so I have decided to come to Varrock in an official meeting if you would like. However, the Varrock DLA base is concerned that things in Varrock aren't exactly great either! I simply decided to go anyways in a bid to ensure those watching that the alliance continues greatly and is strengthening. I hope to hear from you soon.

Your friend,
Dayan Itsu

Commodore Curintar watched as the Pirate Ship maneuvered its way towards the Roving Typhoon, sighing in defeat. His vessel was stranded, easy pickings for the pirates. He watched as they brought out the boarding planks. They were going to take him prisoner. Perhaps, Chono could find him... He doubted it... Death was coming for him, his ship was done for. He had disgraced his family. He poured flammable liquid all around the ship, and then set fire to it, tying himself to the mast. He closed his eyes... Chono

Port District, Menaphos
|
Night, clear skies
>>

My body still had not accustomed to the varying conditions of the desert and it was proving difficult for me to focus. As I lay in a rented bed in the Port District of Menaphos I rubbed my hands together to keep them warm. They trembled slightly as I read the letter in my hands for what seemed like the hundredth time.

Earlier I had resorted to purchasing some clothing worn by the people of this gleaming city from the market stalls that surround the large palace. My pale skin and soft features clearly marking me as an outsider did nothing but hinder my attempt to do so without notice.

Yet it was ultimately good fortune that my presence was seen, for a messenger delivered to me a letter addressed with my full name. At first my assumption was that it was a trap, of course, yet it appeared most genuine.

The infamous Azazel of the Morytanian Liberation Front saught me out.

Oh how the twisted strands of fate seemed almost to unravel before me, presenting a most perfect opportunity. Without even having to try, someone had reached out for my assistance in overthrowing Dayan from his golden throne in the Itsu family. Of course this group had other agendas, namely with the Kingdom of Varrock of which I know preciously little about.

Simple questioning had told me nothing, the messenger who delivered the letter did not know who he worked for, who I was, or what the letter contained. Yet his bloody entrails had been clear as a desert night sky - Varrock would soon be a place of great upheaval.

With a shiver I dragged myself out of the uncomfortable bed and pulled on my robes over the top of the desert clothes. Reaching for my quill and ink, which had sat patiently on the desk in this rented room since my arrival hours before, I began to write.

Grand Lord Azazel,

I do most graciously accept your invitation. I will await you at the Golden Scarab Inn, near the docks of Menaphos.

You may know of this already, but my brother Dayan has left on a ship for Port Sarim. From there he travels to the Wushanko embassy building and then onto the capital of Varrock itself.

You say that we both wish to see the leaders of our homes dealt with, but understand this - my vendetta is personal. I care not for the people of Menaphos or the Wushanko Empire.

The Itsu family abandoned and betrayed me, and for that they all shall suffer.

- Lady Zahra Itsu

The Tale of Zachariah

Far away from its home port at Crandor, one of the transport ships of the Order had set sail for its destination. On board the vessel were a small contingent of Knight-Brothers, four warpriests, and their commanding officer, the Grand Chaplain* himself. The ship was en route to Al Kharid where he would be joining Brother Pydomens at the camp nearby. Reinforcements indeed were on the way.

Rowan, indeed, is a polymath. Not only is he a master of the sword and of the Holy Word as one of Saradomin's warpriests, but also he is a keen patron of Gielinorian lore. In his sea journey, he brought with him a book he bought from a visiting antiques salesman weeks ago. That book, entitled The Tale of Zachariah , captivated his interest that he decided to read on it and share the story with the rest of the Knight-Brothers on the ship.

Zachariah, in his prime, was one of the chivalrous justiciars in the service of Saradomin. Demons feared him, even the warriors of the dark-hearted, for he brandished the sword of righteousness while he smote those who resisted with his blue-colored hand brimming with holy energy. All fall under his feet when the name reached the camp of his enemies....

Rowan went on narrating Zachariah's story, motivating the soldiers even more. After hearing the tale, the soldiers felt energized both in faith and valour as they swore to uphold the Saradominist faith.

By the next morning, the ship arrived at Al Kharid.

(*OOC NOTE: Brother Rowan, alongside being the Grand Commander, serves as the Grand Chaplain as well given his affiliation with the clerics of the Church of Saradomin. However, in his letters, he is usually addressed as Grand Commander)

As Brother Rowan walked on the pier, he saw the construction of another ship. A seaman approached him.

Brother Rowan, the Resolve went into bad shape after one attack. We decided to rework it from scratch.

Aye, thanks for the information. Well, better call it Iriandul's Charisma, shall we?

Aye, Brother. Caistlyn was a true leader of the Seven. His charisma in leading his band of priestly warriors shall never go unnoticed. Anyway, I'll go back to my work in rebuilding the ship.

Saradomin be with you, brother.

The Aegis commissions Iriandul's Charisma (4C, 2M, 5SEA, 1SPD) into the main fleet, and will be stationed at Al Kharid.
